From my observation users usually pick out their faction based on their reward boons. "Cheaper by the Dozen" boons gets a lot of attention due to its stock market benefit and usually wins if for instance the Sway is in the battle. Just my opinion though could be wrong,

You only need to win 10 battles, regardless of difficulty. Not sure if total draws/losses for the week counts for anything.

Ok that's pretty much what I had gathered. I will just keep fighting the weaklings and maybe eventually move up to the tough guys after I log my 10 wins.

It definitely isn't but you can keep an eye on the current page to see what the status of everyone on Codex is, as far as what team we are picking. I was certain I would win this last time, but of course, nothing goes as planned.
