Got all for my main but still need a couple more for my auxiliary.  Does anyone have a clue about how a faction wins?  Is it just raw number of battles or weighted so going against the bosses count for more?

Battles against the bosses counts for more but you will need luck since a lot of people is fighting for hours to earn the avatar.

Aren't the top challengers only 475 difficulty? Or are you talking about the ones during the plot?
