Ive used Abrosia for about 2 weeks and its worked great. Ive bought 5 or 6 unbuyables and made about 10 mil. But From what I can tell my timings are way off of everyone elses. I have been using a refresh rate of 8-25 sec, pre haggle of 1.0-1.2, and ocr of 1.0-1.4. I just got the premium so I was wondering if I would be cool to crank it up and by how much. Its been working great how it is and Ive never been RS banned, but I feel like my success has all been luck.
Any tips for timings?

When it comes to main shop AB'ing the refresh settings and time spent AB'ing are the most important part. You need to use the scheduler to your absolute advantage. Schedule random bursts of time with fast refresh rates, 3-8 seconds, periods of no ab'ing, and longer periods of ab'ing with a really long refresh pattern, 7-30 seconds. This is crucial if you want to avoid being frozen and be successful. Keep your buytimes around 1.5-2.5 seconds.
tl;dr what you've been doing is 100% the right way to go about ab'ing for long term success. if anything use the scheduler to schedule 2-3 periods of ab'ing daily with a slightly lower refresh rate. 8-20s.

25 second refresh? I'd recommend keeping that around to 5-10. 25 seconds is a bit long in my opinion (though Shrouded makes some good points as well with that). Your pre-haggle and OCR could be lowered as well. Try referencing this guide.
Buy times around 1.5-2.5 is what you should be aiming for.
I've never been frozen from having a 5-10 refresh rate. RS banned yes, but not frozen.

Settings are different for everyone depending on your connection speed. You must experiment with your own settings to find the perfect settings for you.
Suggestions/warnings:
- Try to get 1100 -1300 ms buy times if you want to be safer than most people.
- Your refresh rate is surprisingly high. Mine are literally 7 seconds to 12 seconds. Have faster refresh rates found to be unprofitable if you AB for hours at a time. If you can time restocks, that's a different story.
- You are at always at a higher risk if you AB at Magi/Stamps/BD/etc even if you have slow settings.

The scheduler can set different settings ofr different times? I havent used it at all so I dont know. I have been randomizing my RS schedule by setting it by hand at times I would RS during.
Using these settings do you get RS banned often?

I was using the standard so it kept switching to random shops, which is the main reason I ended up geting the premium. It was sketching me out (no one knows everything to buy from every shop).
That being said I got a few UB potions that added up to about 8mil of that 10mil so would I be at risk with that?

Idk I don't MSAB. It would be a great feature to ask for in the new version if it doesn't ![]()

I changed it to 5-25 refresh, .7-1.2 pre, and .9-1.4 OCR
This is my main btw so Id like to be as safe as possible. I dont mind lossing a few items to make sure my account stays unbanned.

Then I'd keep doing what you were doing or stop completely. You're taking an innate risk by doing it at all.

Thats true lol. Ill probably keep it like this for now and maybe get a shell or 2 to test different settings on.
Ill also probably stop RSing in the high risk places and go for more lower cost items. Except maybe the stamp shop since I want to start working on some of those avatars....

RS'ing in stamp won't help much with the avatars. You'd better start AA'ing on a side with EC2 if you want to get enough for a stamp avatar ![]()

Almost Abandoned Attic and Amazon EC2. Check the front page of the forum and the topic right below this one.

Ok, I understand. but wouldnt the account get banned pretty quickly being on 24/7? or do they not track the AA?
Also I dont know where I would aquire a 3year old account so this probably isnt very viable for me D:

Haha I guess. I kinda assumed that actually. I dont know if I have the money for it anyways though, np or real. how much would a 3y one normally cost?

Ive never bought one myself.. Somebody else would have to answer that question. Just be safe with your main account.. I think having a bunch of accounts just complicates things
Good luck!

I mostly get igloo items, I missed out on morphing potions last night. How do I find out my connection speed and refresh rate? o.O

Speedtest.net for connection (try a New York or California server. I can't remember where neo is based).

Refresh rate will be under the settings tab in Abrosia, it's under "main shop settings" and will be the first numbers on that tab. (Can't remember the exact wording for it, sorry.)

Buying morphing potions is on the risky side of autobuying

You can run a NP farm two ways:
- Use Ambrosia and EC2 to buy ONLY buyables and run it with scheduler automatically
- Put in a little bit of work and use EC2 in the Abandoned Attic.
You can run a NP farm multiple ways with the most popular two being:
- Use Ambrosia and EC2 to buy ONLY buyables and run it with scheduler automatically
- Put in a little bit of work and use EC2 in the Abandoned Attic.
