So I kinda get the impression that many members aren't excessively careful with their accounts since it's somewhat easy to make a comeback. In my second go-around with ABing/codex, I've managed to take my very first neopets account (which was mostly a shell of an account...) pretty far in only a few months. However, at this point, I'd really like to not lose it given its nostalgic history and the time/money (not a ton of but still some lol) I put into it, so I'm considering dialing down illegal activities.

 

So basically do you have an account that is a "main" main that you restrict illegal activities on to ensure it isn't frozen, and to what extent?

The only program I don't run with my main is the SSer (AC was an exception). I run 3 or 4 programs everyday for a lot of time (not 24/7 tho). I'm not really afraid of losing it.

I use safe times for ABing, make sure I don't AB for too long each day, etc. When I SSed for the AC, I made sure I rested lots. Basic things like that.

Nonadvanced settings for MSABing, ABing 3-5 hours a day, spread out throughout the day with hour breaks in between, and ABing in shops other than the high-profit ones (ie, Magic, Stamps, etc.). These settings won't generate a lot of profit, probably 100-200K a day, but they're conservative enough to keep a main with sentimental value alive.

 

I admit it's tempting to ab in Magic/Stamps, but there's the whole "I've been frozen after buying an UB in magic/stamps" spheal. I'd just leave it to the sides and gift over baby paint brushes or whatever's the safest way to transfer NPs these days.

When I SSed for the AC, I was very careful and made sure I didn't go on to long. (however I was frozen in AC VII for SSing. I got the account back though). Because of that, I tend to stay far away from MSN durring the AC.

 

When I MSAB'd I made sure nothing went below 1000ms and if I had 1000ms I made sure that it didn't happen that often. Everything was either 1500ms or above. Now I just AAA and since that has a restock schedule, it makes it easier for me as I don't need to mess with things like OCR-prehaggle and refresh times.

 

I always take breaks with whatever I do.

Loads of breaks, and I chat on the Neoboards so that it's not like I'm a neo-recluse. I don't SS unless I'm absolutely confident that I won't be reviewed (I take weeks to build up increasing scores and not just one shot get a high score) and I don't AB all the time, rarely visit Magic/Stamps and mostly concentrate on lower end shops.

I do all kinds of shit on my main. I SS trophy scores once or twice a month, and AB daily two or three times a day for two or three hours with ~800ms times. I am pretty active in my guilds and sometimes on the boards as well so my account is pretty legit. I'm just not willing to put in the amount of time needed to do everything legit. I've never gotten frozen, and I've only had my scores reviewed once or twice.

I only have one account but I'm pretty careful, AB a little on HPD usually and sometimes from the Attic. Used AoB for all the avatar game scores without any hassle too.  

 

It seems like quite a few people run into trouble when it comes to transferring items so that's why I never bothered with sides.

For my main, I've used AoB on the few avatar games I couldn't get, and SSed a little bit for the AC. But other than that, I keep it legit. I may or may not AAA in the future, I haven't decided yet.

I've cheated with my 7+ year main for over a year. This year, got All-Star on AC with score sender, ABing a bit (I have crappy times ~2000ms in MSAB), AoBing avatars and trophies, autobattling for Tyrannian war, automating Kitchen Quests, solving Shapeshifter, feeding Kads.

 

Non-program/cheat assisted things I do with my account, play some quick NP games, chat in guild board, train my pet & do other dailies.

My main account has 50+ trophies   with only like 8 won legitimately. It's hard to accuse a 60+ month old with that many event and game trophies unlike a 1 or 2 month old account.

My main i only use the ABer a couple times a day and not for that long at all. I make sure that i have safe times 2000-2500 and i dont get greedy and try making millions in a day or try to get a whole line of trophies. Id like to keep my main I think people on neo get pissed if they see younger accounts with more trophies and better pets. I never post on the neoboards.. Im worried some 10 year old will get jealous and report me.

Yup, this is generally the #1 way to ensure your account won't get frozen no matter how many trophies you have. Even I get suspicious when I see a 2 week old account sitting at #1 on a HS table.

Argh, I suck at games and never bothered to SS. So even though I have an aged account, I have very little trophies. And I can't really start playing games again  because I'd just suck at them. I hope it doesn't come off as suspicious, having an aged account with relatively few accolades.

Im pretty careful. Used to AB a lot on it, but now I only do it on half price day since I reached my goal. Other days I just let habitarium run all day, since my comp is on anyway. Also reselling some stuff here and there. Makes me feel legit

Actually did the AC cup without cheating this year *never doing that again, what a pain in the ass*. So I will definately SS that next year instead. I am testing SS on some aged shells but Im too afraid to use it on my main, even to get trophies.. because Ill likely screw up. xD

AoB for sure... especially the avatar games that I don't have patience to get legitimately--I space them out though so it doesn't look like I'm getting all the game avvies all at once.  I do the occasional AB (mostly the attic) and have only used the SS over the AC event.  My main looks pretty legit and I keep a low key profile so I'm hoping it stays safe.

 

Plus I buy a f-ton of neocash.  I'm hoping that being a paying user keeps me somewhat immune to icing.  They'd lose out on a lot if I were to leave the site permanently.

Everything else I do legit. I don't want to get frozen... I have heaps of NC crap on there.

Ever since learning about the existence of score-sending, I am now suspicious of any account with lots of game trophies (especially for those games that are well-known to be "safe" to SS), regardless of age
 

That's also why I have resisted the temptation to get flash game trophies on my main.

I do everything on my main. If it goes, it goes and then I guess it's time to move on (for me). I use SS especially got get game avatars.

It's too late for my main to cheat, I obtained loads of trophies and avatars before I learned about cheating, the only thing I had problem was NP making, and it's no longer a problem because my side became very rich comparing to my main who had a maximum of 100k NP.

I AB but with safe time and not too long. I also don't make my self seem known so I hold onto the item for maybe 2 weeks before putting on TP and when I do one on at a time. I have gotten a few 1 mil+ stamps, usukis, MP and still no ban and I have been doing this for 6 months maybe. A little longer I think though.
