Played neopets a very very very long time ago... recently returned and no idea on my old account login information.  What do y'all suggest as the easiest way to get money to begin AB'ing and how much should I get?  I'm like, literally broke lol, 1 NP.  Just ran across this forum today in my search for ways to make neopoints.

Thanks :)

If you're broke try this. First play some games, try habitarium (450k to get to 50 and then speical 500np gems at level 50). Once you get enough (wherever you define that as) AB. (habitarium is under the games menu on neo)

    Here's some guides:

Thanks, I've tried quite a few games but it seems my keystrokes for the directional keys don't work so well (have to tap 3-4 times for it to actually register) on some games and ends up just annoying me so wasn't sure which I should do.

So your keyboard isn't working? Some quick NP games dont' need the keyboar (kass basher, fashion fever..wheel of slime). Habitarium doesn't require use of the keyboard.

Guides are contained in the guide directory if you want to take a look though that.

In the Neocodex Guide Directory find the Shell Startup Extras.

No, my keyboard works fine... I'm not sure it's only neopets that has issues with it in some games.  I started Habitarium though.

yay i have made 2k np off of habitarium lol.  I am not so poor anymore.  Though I think I need a lot more to use AB :(

Still unsure what to do in this thing.. guide says stuff about the rates of each type of thingermajigger for gathering resources compared to eggs, but it doesn't tell me how many of each type (worker/soldier/nester) is optiMAL?  Lol, a lot of stuff to take in at once, maybe will just take time.

What worked well for me is playing a few flash games until I got 15-20k, then ABed in Igloo (which amounts to 100k a day or so). That's enough starting money for the not so expensive main shops.

Thanks I will try this.  So get 15-20k then open the AB and shop igloo?  I haven't used the AB before or even opened it.. but can probably figure it out.

50K-60K should be enough to start ABing at ETS shops like the food shop, chocolate factory, health foods, etc. There are tons of guides you can read about ABing, such as :

    http://www.neocodex....-abrosia-style/

Most important thing about ABing is not to leave it on all day. As you're an unadvanced user, your times should be all right, and you won't get flagged.

You can also do dailies, many dailies give out free neopoints by just visiting the links and do some simple clicking. Daily Puzzle, Faeriecrossword, etc.

Daily Neopets has most of the dailies links: http://www.thedailyn...ts.com/dailies/

I think there are also dailies auto-doer out there.

Thanks for the tips.  I started ABing at about 18k as the one guy said that's the range he started at.  I ended up with quite a deal of loot to sell, how long do the Igloo items typically take to sell?

It depends on the items you got. The best advice would be putting it at the lowest cost and being patient :)

I put them at the lowest price by a decent amount.  Just anxious to get the profits from them so that I can run higher shops and see what's in store for me there.  Made a good bit if it sells from just the igloo. lol.

Just wanting to know if it takes like, hours, a day, days, or weeks?  Not expecting it to sell immediately.

Depends on the items, Codestones usually sell fast for those players training pet and pet's abilities. Then there are also items that are used for quest. These two types of items are usually fast to sell may be within 12 hours. But the rest may take days, some can't be easily sell due to low demand for them so even if you have the lowest price, you may not be able to sell them easily.

As Grandmaster said, codestones sell fast. Faerie quest items sell usually within one week to one month. Food sell fast, usually within one to five days. Gourmet food...takes longer, maybe one to two weeks.

Igloo items range really from stamps, to wearables, to gardening, so there's no real estimate you can make. Stamps sell decently quick, usually within the week. I can go on.

The thing to keep in mind is that cheap stuff that are used for quests will sell quickly, whereas expensive stuff generally take longer. You should sell most of your stock from the Igloo within a week.

Alright, thanks, I actually sold the stuff I had from the igloo a few hours after I woke, so I'm now at about 260k NP.  With about 80k in the shop to sell still.

Hopefully can improve this amount shortly, lol.  I had literally single digit neopoints yesterday.

Great to see you getting right on track! With about 260K, you have enough collateral to go ahead and start looking at the main shops, maybe even clearing them if you feel particularly generous. From there on, it's just expansion.

Congrats on getting started again! I'd say you're def ready to hit the main shops now, I usually keep 200k out at a time while I AB there.
