Is it typically more profitable to sell map pieces won from World Challenges individually or to complete an entire map and then sell off the prize you receive? I currently have several Neopia Central pieces, if the world matters.

That petpage lists the prizes you can get from the maps. One map piece is roughly 30-50k and there's 12 pieces so one map ranges from 700k to 1m depending.

It's a gamble, like most of the gambling stuff. You can get more, you can get less, it all depends. Think of it like nerkmids. Except far more tedious to get.

On the plus side, you get to re-redeem the maps again if you finish all three maps so it could be considered "infinite" gambling. Unlike nerks.

In your personal experience which way has it typically gone for over the long run more favorable towards selling or redeeming? I see the two red codestones in the level two prizes and that seems like a major risk.

Also there are 20 pieces per map  ^_^

In my personal experience... I got lucky with a usuki pb when I redeemed my maps, but in general, I recommend you sell the ENTIRE map. Even if it nets you less, it's still a confirmed price instead of the PBs. And plus, half of the PBs are given out by the nerks anyway so it's not like it's exclusive to the WC maps. You could do a calculated risk and redeem level 1 maps in hopes of the white PBs and possibly level 2 cause it's still an okay range of prizes but level 3 maps has shit prizes so.

Sell them as complete maps 1, 2 and 3 for around 2.4m on the TC

    Individual pieces sell cheaper.

You're likely not to make much profit, if any, converting them, but you could get lucky.

I once got a codestone for converting one :(

About how long does it take you to sell the complete set?

It shouldn't take too long. If you advertise the prizes that can be won and someone around is wanting to gamble, it'll get sold ^__^ i guess it depends on your luck though. you might have better luck on the AC or GC, or try making a board on all three~

Actually, selling complete set is usually faster and more profitable than selling world challenge pieces individually, just like secret lab map.

I only turned in one map and actually earned/traded for every piece. I received a petpet worth 2k. Since then i sell all pieces individually.

Selling individual pieces will net you more, but it is far more difficult to find a buyer.
