Face definitely, I look at mouth/smile and eyes first on anyone I meet. Body isn't a huge factor for me since I like my guys with a little meat on their bones
A question for girls

Out of the two options, I'd say face. I great smile and nice eyes trumps physique any day.
However, personality is most important to me overall. I tend to find guys who have good personalities much more attractive than those who don't. But if I'm judging without getting to know the guy, face is definitely what I look at first.

Hello mates, I am a Hong Kong guy so my English is not very welcoming. Thus, this is my first post. Please forgive my ignorance or .
In my point of view, if I were not forced to choose an option, I would choose neither as appearance can be "eroded" by time. We Chinese has a saying meaning that the inside of a person affects how he expresses on the outside.
However, I consider "body" more important as it depicts a healthy lifestyle. I am sure no one wants an obese girlfriend who will press you flat.

So no women look for personality or similar interests? I guess I'm not dating a woman, then.
Yeah this.
But between the two: face. I don't like guys who are too muscle-y haha
I kind of prefer guys a little chubby anyway.

I agree with both sentiments.
When a person is happy and smiles a lot, it is not only very attractive, but its the kind of attractiveness that lasts a lifetime. I went to a Buddhist temple a few weekends ago, and our tour guide was probably in her 70s, but she had the most electric smile and engaging eyes. I'm going to be like that when I'm older. And then I've known some girls/women who had very "hot" bodies, as in models, beauty pageant winners, 9/10 bartenders, etc.; the kind of girls you find close to the beach where all of the money is --- and a lot of these girls had an aura of.... I don't know to make it not sound corny, but they didn't give off a healthy energy. Thats just my two cents on that.
And as far as a body is concerned, I'm a healthy guy, I go to the gym every day, I stretch, I do yoga, I eat right, I listen to podcasts about nutrition and read books on physiology. It makes sense, too, because I only have one body and I am the only person who has the power to make it as close to perfect as I can. So I'm just not attracted to other people who don't share a similar inclination towards health and general well-being. I'm a serial monogamist, so I guess I'm always looking for a mate, and I don't want my kids to have a mom that won't put a lot of effort into their health.

Personally, I care more about the persons face than their body.
Ultimately I care about personality the most though, everything else is just an add on haha.
You cant change your face, but you can change your body, as terrible as that sounds. ![]()

I personally have an eye fetish. If I find your eyes to be hideous, I won't bother... I also have a hand thing... So yeah... You have to have gorgeous eyes and nice hands otherwise it's a no go.

Emma Watson likes men around 5'6", brown hair with tan skin and in the military.
Aka me
Aka my body.
Me and Emma Waston have similar taste then.... except for the tan bit, my other half is a lobster.

I care about personality and interests/hobbies... But, if I'm not attracted to their face - it just can never be. I don't really know why... Also the hair. They need some flowing locks... Not always, but yeah XD

Well, at first glance it's definitely face. It's what you'll be looking at and talking too most of the time so I guess that's a no-brainer for me ![]()
I don't disregard body, I admit that generally the guys I've dated had the same physical features (mostly skinny and tall). I think (too) muscular is gross '_'
I've dated someone who I wasn't physically attracted too though. He had scary eyes, receeding hairline, chubby and blond, but we clicked so well. ![]()

.... Well it's funny, because I go for a lot of things, but not really at the same time.
- I like dimples, so I smiling lad/lass will TOTALLY makes me super filtry.
- Long hair in genral are super atractive in my book, whatever your gender is.
- Tall/small or thin/overweight, doesn't matter! All body type are fantastic!!!!
- I like my white boy skinny in genreal, but my black one pretty beef. Well I did make a few exception, but essentially yeah.
- The person HAS to have a nice voice. That's like, numero uno preference.
So yeah, I actuaaly don't really care a lot about apparence. Lot's of things are sexy in my book, and if the person have a nice personality or if I get paid, I will happily have all the sex in the world wth it!
Well, not anymore, since I have a fiance and all that jazz, but you see my point.

Brains-lots of it. If a man can outwit me with facts in a convo(not easy by any means), it does something.....
The fact that you made three grammar mistakes in two sentences leads me to believe otherwise.

I notice how a man carries himself right away. relaxed, natural leader. confident. Yes to all of the above.
However false ego is my biggest red flag. having an inflated sense of what you're capable of, etc. If somebody has been feeding his ego to the point that it has it's own name, personality,....storyline.... I'll tell you to get the fuck away from me. It's not very fair or kind of me, no.
If we're going to be strictly superficial I really like broad shoulders, strong back, rough hands, tight bum. The shape you get from physically demanding work beats the sculpted body achieved through working out to me.

Yeah, I don't usually care about physical looks as much. If someone looks like they were modeled after a god, but dumber than a rock there's no remote way I'm attracted to them. Do looks help? Absolutely, but it's intelligence first. I'm a total sapiosexual. And if it's looks, can't I have both face and body? I like kind eyes but I also like broad shoulders ![]()

Face, absolutely.
But to clear that up, I don't mean how much of a model-face you have. You don't have to be conventionally attractive, but it's important that I am attracted to you.
My ex-girlfriend for example was not conventionally pretty. After we broke up, many many people told me that I am much prettier than her (that's of course what everyone wants and needs to hear after a breakup
) and I even heard that some were calling us 'Beauty and the Beast'. I was shocked. Because for me, she was the prettiest girl ever, even though she'd never be a Victoria Secrets model, if you know what I mean.
But the chemistry was there and even though neither her face, body or her appearance in general were "my type" I totally fell for her!
But in comparison to that, my ex- boyfriend.. Well, he wasn't that good-looking, but at least "normal average" and he had a nice, trained body. He looked a little bit nerdy, what I liked in general, but not in his case.
He guilt-tripped me into a relationship after 2 years of (a toxic, manipulative) friendship and I remember that I had to bring myself to kiss him and I wanted to sleep with him "to get over with it".
There was no attraction at ALL, even though he really didn't look so bad or something.
I'm so glad I got out of this shit before sleeping with him and that's why I'll never, ever force myself again to be with someone even if there is no attaction at all.
Especially after I met this glorious guy saturday night, after 1,5 years of not meeting anybody interesting.. and I could stare at his face for hours, his body was amazing and I have no idea what I loved more
The way he looked at me, smiled at me or kissed me made my heart bump really fast, but his arms.. I don't want to decide
And obviously I don't have to, woohoo

Face.
There's just so many potentially attractive qualities in the face. Eyes, lips, nose, cheek bones, jaw bones, facial hair, etc... I like a good face. ![]()

face. its like 10000000% less awkward to stare at someones face than at their chest/lower body.

I would rather look at someone's tits than look them in the eye.

Between body and face, I would have to say face. Ironically, when my boyfriend (now of 3 years) first sat down next to me in class, I thought he was cute, but too short and thin for me and marked him off my mental list of guys to flirt with. Overtime though, we became best friends and eventually started dating. Now I couldn't care less about how tall/short/fat/skinny he is, and I still think he's cute ![]()

LMAO, I don't date.
But at least "people I like to look at" -- A nice face is great and for the most part rather immutable, but body is super important to me for both genders because honestly, unless you have some very legitimate excuse -- there is no reason not to be constantly working on and improving on your own physical appearance and fitness. Everyone looks better with some dedication at the gym and well-fitting clothes.
