Am I correct to assume that the displayed buy time does not include the (MS pre-haggle delay), and what I am actually seeing in the Abrosia window when I buy something successfully is just the (OCR page delay).

date- Bought Item X: NP in 1700 ms

So for example, the 1700 ms displayed in the log does NOT include the MS prehaggle time and is just the value of OCR page delay + latency delay time right?

I think it is the total time from loading page to successful buying the item. It varies... Using a proxy makes it slower, for example (at least most of the time)

well I'm kind of confused because it says the MS prehaggle delay is not factored into the logged buy time or something under the tooltip.

That's why I'm trying to figure out whether or not the value that shows up on the log is just the total value of the latency delay + the OCR page delay setting, without the MS prehaggle delay factored in.

I'm no expert in the matter, but I recommend going to the local free wifi spot and creating a shell and running and playing around with the settings just to find out the best settings for you.  Don't forget to check the speed against your own.  Anyone please correct me if I am wrong in any of this

As you said, the tooltip clearly states that prehaggle delay is not factored in, so I think you can take it at its word ;)

Sure, but it's better to be absolutely certain so i don't get banned... due to potentially incorrect assumptions about how things work while messing with the settings.

For example if the MS prehaggle time isn't logged as per the tooltip then what exactly is being logged when you buy something at the igloo?  Seeing as there is no OCR page delay at the igloo..  Is that the prehaggle time before abrosia clicks on the item? or is that the time it took for the site to register that you bought something?  very confusing imo

As far as I understand it, the prehaggle time is how fast you decide what item you want.  Considering the record for the brain to respond to visual stimuli is around 100 milliseconds (not making a decision, just beginning to process), pick a time around 250 millisecond to 750 for igloo/attic, while increasing the speed slightly for the latter.  Basically, it is the time it takes "you" to decide what item will create the greatest profit and attempt to buy it, for the igloo and attic, or be directed to the ORC page, at least as far as I know.

    Right...

But the point is that the tooltip says the MS prehaggle value is not "logged". However there is a value being logged for the igloo and I am not sure what it indicates.  Either its the MS prehaggle time or something else.  If that number is the MS prehaggle time (and logic dictates that the displayed value is this since there is no OCR page delay in the igloo, and there are no indications elsewhere as to what the logged ms actually is) then the tooltip is misleading and I won't trust it blindly without some confirmation.

So the question still stands.  Does the MS value that is given in the logs for successful main shop buys, include the MS prehaggle time or not?  Or is it solely the OCR page delay +latency lag

My best guess is that prehaggle doesn't factor in, and it is just latency+OCR page for MS.  For igloo and attic, it is latency and prehaggle.  I suggest you ask Shadow, considering he wrote the program.

However for the Igloo and Attic my logged buy times are below what just my pre-haggle wait time is. So I'm thinking that it's just latency for those. But of course I am no programmer so that's just a guess.
