My sister has a phobia of lotion on her hands.

My dad has a phobia of having sand in his shoes.

My mom has a phobia of people in blow up snowman suits.

What is your weird phobia?

Loud eating is definitely in the top 3 things in this world that I hate. Don't have a phobia of it, it's just really fucking annoying.

I don't like hurting my hands. I've grown ever more paranoid of this as I've aged. Just the thought can make me cringe.

Sharp things in my eye Dx

Although it'd be perfectly sensible to be scared of an eye gouging...

Dirty socks. Any sock that is not fresh out the dryer. I can't do it, can't touch them, can't stand them near me. Boyfriend has a habit of leaving his socks on in the house. If they touch my leg, I fling myself away and shake like a wet dog in terrified muscle spasms and suppress the urge to vomit. I can't even LOOK at them if they're the worn-out, slightly floppy kind that don't even fit snugly to the form of the foot any more. Ugh ugh ugh.

    I have NO idea why.

I usually eat alone, blasting my music in my earbuds, so I can eat quickly.

I'm also scared someone will open the door when I have a qtip in my ear and the door will hit my elbow and I'll die and I'm scared of my kids starving to death.

I have the same phobia. The door is always locked, I sit in the bathtub, I still worry.

    I'm also terrified of snakes.

Doing flips.  I skinned half of my back on my diving board when I didn't push out far enough and I am terrified of them now.

I don't like being near people who are too tall, or too short. Or people who are normal sized but just too close. I just don't want anyone near me.

I know a girl who is afraid of rubber balloons. She's afraid they'll pop.

I'm also afraid of the dark and ovens. I love to bake, and I can put the cookies in the oven, but I cannot take them out.

As for annoyances, I also hate the sound of people smacking when they eat, and I hate it if the crease on my socks aren't fitting right.

agoraphobia isn't so weird, but I really flip out when I'm in wide, open spaces.

I can't sleep without like, 95% of my body covered by a blanket or I feel like I'm gonna die
