I've been playing for over 12+ years with my interest waning and waxing continously. I've never been a seriously player, though the discovery of this site and its wonderful programs had made me the most active I have been in years. I'm very careful with what I do but if I get frozen, I think that will be it for me. It's not that I'm too lazy to start over, it's just I have no interest in starting over...if that makes sense. I'll find a new hobby.

 

So what about you? What would it take to make you finally give up neopets?

100% with you. If my main gets frozen for whatever reason, I'm completely done. Not renewing my proxy, deleting my membership here kinda done. Would never want to hear the word 'neopet' again.

i don't know. i really enjoy playing neopets...    i don't think i'll ever stop playing. i used to think that i should stop when i enter college since it's not cool to play anymore but the population of college students in neopets is so high (heck, even grandmoms play neopets), it made me get rid of such a thought.

 

i've been playing for a long time too but i'm not very consistent. my old main account was frozen recently and in my new account i'm focusing on neoquest and plushie tycoon instead of just hoarding neopoints like i usually do.

I'm done, if my 9+ year main gets frozen. Most of my guild members have gone inactive so cheating is basically the only thing that keeps me still playing.

Nothing wrong with that at all You are never too old to enjoy yourself.

Dunno...there's some goals which I really hope to achieve, but it's going to take time! I don't fancy myself rebuilding but if I ever get frozen....man it's a really tough choice. Probably try to salvage as much as I can I suppose, otherwise it's curtains

When my main gets frozen I suppose, although I'd probably still create accounts to dick around with programs here and there. I'd never play legit ever again, though.

I probably never will; unless they implement huge, unforseen changes that just totally ruin it for me.

The day my main gets frozen is the day I quit cause I cbf rebuilding and acquiring certain NC items again.  I neglect a bunch of other games cause of Neo anyways.

my interest in it is always fluctuating, too. but i usually forget about it for months and only come back to it for a few days

i don't know if i'll ever just quit, unless my main account gets frozen? that might do it

Same with all you guys. I have periods of intense interest, half a year of not logging in once, and repeat. If the number of players keep declining, I'll probably stop playing then.

My main was already been frozen once. If that ever happens again I'll most likely be done for good.

I've stopped playing ever since I got a job. I just forget about neopets.. But there will always be a kid part of me that wants to play every once in a while and cheat c: all my shells are like mains to me so I don't think I'll ever quit. I love rebuilding and starting new.

Uhh, I have a lingering addiction from when I was a kid, so I probably won't stop playing for years. 

 

I originally stopped playing for a bit because Neo was consuming too much time. Now that I have ABrosia, well... That problem's gone (:

 

Plus, freezing doesn't really bother me, because it's fun to rebuild and get all new pets.

If my main gets frozen thats it. Rebuilding is time consuming and sadly I have other commitments. I really wish I had more time to put into Neo.

I'm never sinking as much money into NC again. If I get frozen, it'd be like a slap in the face.

If I Get Frozen On My Legit Main, Ill Probably Never Come Back. Im afraid to hold all my pure on one account because they just freeze people at will.

Uh.. if my main was frozen, I'd probably stop playing and come back in 6 years if the site is still there. Right now I have other more interesting games and I might stop playing Neo for a while anyway.

I will quit for good if my main gets frozen. It is almost 12 years old and will take far too long to rebuild.

 

I will also quit once I get too busy with my day job.

I probally won't. I've been iced so many times but that doesn't matter; I'll just make a new account and stop playing for years. I always rebuild them acounts.

Hopefully i get unfrozen on my main x_X i got frozen for protection lol and they never reply to tickets.

Honestly? I'll probably take breaks, but never leave unless it becomes pay-to-play. Right now, all I really am doing is cheating. Years ago, when I was younger, i'd probably have left if my main account got banned.

I have set a point for years where I'd stop, but even after reaching that point find my way back somehow. I've just accepted that I'm in it for the long haul haha...

Considering that I've had my Neo account for half of the time that I have been alive (boy, that's weird to think about)... probably never?     If my main got frozen though, I probably would.  I think it would ruin the nostalgic tie that I have to Neo if that happened.
