There's some resources scattered here and there about which shops are dangerous and which aren't, but I thought it would be cool to have a thread where people could share their experiences. I'd be willing to compile it into some sort of guide too.

From my experience alone, I've only ever been frozen for using stamps, though it's been like 4-5 times... I learned the hard way with my main the first time. I've lasted around 2 months to one day - yes, one day. Buy times were pretty average, I'd say 1.2-1.5 seconds. I don't expect to last in stamps anymore but you can make a huge profit quickly.

I've ABed in fresh foods, the attic, booktastic, collectable coins, and spooky foods consistently without ever getting banned. I think I've used sub 1 second times in booktastic too... So as far as I'm aware, all these are pretty safe generally.

Be great to have a guide, so here's some info (as far as I know. I don't AB there, but because of the very high profit items these sell, I believe it's safe to assume they're high risk) Magic, defense/battle magic, tyrannian petpets (because of the krawks), royal potionrey, are all high risk.

(Is it royal potionrey that has the LEV or is kyalas potion shop? Either way both are high risk.)

    Sorry,I can't spell.

There actually is a thread! That has all shops ranked by a level of danger as well as the profit you stand to make there and why.... I've been trying to find it again... it's an old one, but it exists, and it's awesome...

it even has super outdated lists for some shops if I remember correctly lol

It seems all the high profit shops (Magic, Stamps, Battle Magic, etc)  are monitored more so than others.

I've gotten frozen from ABing in stamps recently, but it took 2 years of leaving the AB overnight almost everyday for it to happen.

Clothes, toys, foods, and plushies have been pretty safe for me. I have a few accounts ABing there and haven't had a problem.

I would say that 4 hrs isn't too bad, 6+ would be pushing it. Might be just an unlucky occurrence.

My theory on how people are iced for high risk shops (Stamps, magic etc) goes along the lines of predictability. If Abrosia is set to...say 8.0-9.0 refresh times, their systems would flag that. If they dfetect the same patterns the next day, that is probably how you will get iced. I think the best way to avoid an icing is to make your timings have a larger range...maybe from 5.0-10.0 refresh etc. and to AB for random periods of times...maybe 2 hours the first, 6 hours the next, 3 hours the next etc. etc.

    Tell me your thoughts:)

    You mean this? http://www.neocodex....-to-autobuying/

I haven't even been trying any high risk shops. Occasional Books, Clothes and Bakery work for me.

That is kind of amazing lol, but maybe my times are unsafe.

The predictability theory is kind of interesting and I have heard of people claiming the larger refresh times have worked. I think I have my times typically at 4 seconds apart which isn't really much, and mostly regular AB sessions...

Anyone get frozen in shops that aren't well-known as high-risk with "normal" ABing?

I think yung stated that his ab-ing accounts were running for a substantial period of time but remained safe. If i had to wager it'll be the amount of rare stuff you buy in one go, which kind of explains the deal with magic (huge amounts of stuff with r95>)

This^. I ab for 6+ hours without ever snatching any overly rare items and my accounts are perfectly fine. Stamp/Magic/Merifoods contain an abundance of rare items, so it's easier to get iced for buying a lot of them (therefore considered high-risk).

Also, I suspect TNT looks for inhumane patterns (ABing same time every day for the same amount of time in the same shops), but loads of users do that even legit, so...

Actually this reminds me of how I recently left the ABer on for like 8 hours in stamps (I think I was restock banned after 5.5) on accident and I was surprised I wasn't banned. But I was on a young account that couldn't buy anything over r94 and I didn't get anything over r90 to begin with I don't think though I profited at least 1M.
