I got 'Napiform' because I used to be really into things that are in the sky and using the right word to describe something.

 

Napiform is the only word to describe certain clouds.

 

I also initially had no intention of making friends or associating any part of the internet with this site, so I had a different name for all my other stuff. Now, I have multiple Napiform-y thingies.

 

 

 

Where did yours come from?

My original username was Harmony, got it from MLP:FiM.

I then changed my username to Aisaka because of a character in the anime, Toradora! xD

My name is derived from my actual web handle which is Yungthuggin89 shortened to Yungthuggin shortened to just Yung since that's what most people call me. Yungthuggin89 was coined as my Gamertag for Xbox Live by my step-dad the very first time I'd ever met him. He was making fun of me for my new nickname at school that some redneck kids on the bus started calling me. From that Yungthuggin was my gamertag but at the time it was taken so I had to add the year of my birth to the end.

I would just use Yungthuggin but then people say Yunghuggin a lot for some reason which is okay just a little too cuddly for my taste. (They mispronounce it online quite often as Yunghuggin on XBL) We'd also have Scot always posting after I did saying, "Got that thuggin love."

Anyway... that's where Yung comes from. It is a strong identifier to my online persona. You can find out more about all this in the Remembering Your Roots thread.

I have thought about changing it a few times, however, so many people know me as Strategist or Strat now, it would be pointless. I pronounce it Strat-eh-jist, cos I'm Aussie and thats just how we say it. You Murican's have a tendency to say Strat-EEE-Jist -_-
