So I just traded for my new pet and her stats are:

Strength: ULTIMATE (350-375) Defence:

ULTIMATE (200-225)

Level is 125-150, so I'm stuck training her level atm

However I was hoping you guys could give me some insight on the best offensive and defensive weapons around the price range of 100-300k maybe a bit more, I'm not really into spending millions yet!

Also any over all tips for owning a BD pet would be awesome!

I personally edited your stats of your pet to include ranges instead of exact values to protect your account.

 

As for weapons, I haven't been BDing in that league recently, but I would stick to two scroll of knowledge. I think there are weapons out there who do the similar number of icons for less, but I'm not familiar with low budget battling.

i wanna point out that defence isn't important in 1-player battledome so perhaps you can just focus on levels and strength with that pet.

i read somewhere that for 1P battles, pets will defend using defensive weapon's icons. so, just get a leaf shield or something and that will suffice.

I agree, I feel because 1players don't defend much. You can just buy 2-3 constants to punch through their defence.
