Hi guys,

So lately I've been trying to start learning about the program, and yesterday I even used it. I ran it for well over an hour and all that happened was one 'missed' attempt. I hear that people make millions using it - what am I doing wrong?

any help for a quickstart? do I need a fair amount of starting money?

thanks,

Well, first of all. Those people making millions are most often using more than 1 instance of Abrosia across multiple IPs and with different accounts, then later transferring the wealth.

Second, shops take time to restock... sometimes you won't see items restock for 30 minutes to an hour.

Third, you might need to adjust your buy time, since you are not an Advanced member, you won't be able to adjust really.. anything. Consider buying Advanced if you want to buy faster (that is if it already isn't fast enough) Go to Tiki Tack (Shop 21) and set your minimum profit to say... 100 and buy an item. Note your buy time in the log beside the item. You want that to be probably just be over 2000-3000 if you are first starting to buy, just to show a bit of realism. As you go on, try and lower that to a little bit under 2000 (1500-2000) and read around on a safe buy time around the forums. Everyone is different.

Now, what shop are you buying in? Try and avoid shops such as Stamps, Magic, Merifoods and all the high value shops as much as you can... you will get frozen in a heartbeat with one small screw-up. I would recommend Food, Spooky Food, Toys or whichever shop you want if you are > 4 months.

For starting cash, it all depends on the shop you're in. For most shops, a couple hundred thousands Neopoints is probably fine.

If you have any other questions, just message me.

@Speshel has given you a decent guide there if you want to invest in advanced membership.

What I would recommend if you don't want to spend real money/do surveys is set your profit to around 2000.

Set it running and check back after an hour. You should be fine.

What is your current profit set to btw?

Good idea, a lot easier to get items that a lot of people pass on.

It's probably set to default, which I believe is 5000?

The "super systems" tend to work on lots of low profit items.

Depends which stamp it is. Stamps can be a fairly safe shop.

I'd say to listen to the first reply you got. I'm going to go off of that from now on, hopefully that will help me also.

alright here's the next question coming:

since I started, it bought many items until I had no money left, and then it just kept saying that it missed buys because no money; it did not put stuff in the shop and did not price anything etc.

what am I doing wrong? :(

the auto-pricing feature from abrosia has been broken for awhile now, but it does put items into the shop. use another program from the program manager called shop pricer or something for that purpose.

Like Stuck said abrosia will only price things bought in the igloo not main shops, idk about the attic

If it actually isn't putting items into your shop it may be because your shop is full when it tries

As far as running out of money either hold more money, set your profit margin higher or AB for less time

If you want to make big profit without advanced, I suggest you use some manual lists and stay at specific shops. I managed a couple of good r99s from 2 shops in 2 months by never changing shops.

well, keeping you guys updated! :)

Abrosia has been running for me for 2 hours every day for a week now, and so far the total earning is around...50k. I'm disappointed :( I really need the money Y_Y

at first I ran it for profit of 1000, that didn't work right so I lowered to 500, then raised it to 2000 because well it bought lots of items that don't sell from the same shop....so...help :(

those profits all sound way too low honestly. if you have a young account a good shop to start with is the pharmacy? should be pretty easy to find a list for that and would be a good, safe shop to start with.

are you still having the same problem of missing all your items? you never told us your buy times so those could be the problem.

Pharm is kind of blah now.  But with an absolute new account and a basic abrosia start off in the igloo for 10 buys with a proffit of 5000+  and then go to 2000+ food.  In less than a week with a brand new account Ive made ~400k doing maybe 3 hours a day.  (most was from igloo which takes 2 hours tops)  Actually got an UB in the igloo this morning worth 300k and im waiting for that to sell.

Yea I'm surprised your profits are that low. I have fairly conservative settings and a young account and have taken in significantly more. Maybe I just got lucky this past week
