The AAA times are messed up. Abrosia is refreshing using the old times, so it's not really seeing any restocks so it doesn't attempt to buy anything. The admins/programmers/whoever are trying to figure out the pattern so they can update Abrosia to work with the new timing system.

You can still use EC for MSAB. That might be very profitable :)

Using EC for MSABing would be extremely risky.

It isn't about timing in the main shops. He'd get iced rather quickly.

That strikes me as bullshit. ABing on a virtual machine is no more or less risky than on your own machine, or via proxy.

EC == EC2 == Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud

EC is used mostly for it's speed.

    MSABing isn't about speed.

Edit:Although you are correct, there is a general risk when ABing at all. I'm not talking about that risk however.

Try abing normal shops/igloo. Those should be working fine right now.

I don't understand your logic in what makes MSABing more risky when using EC?  And why MSABing isn't about speed?

Just commenting on how MSABing isn't as speed dependent as AAing.

As EC makes ABing in general faster, you need to be extra careful with your times when buying from the main shops since anything below 1200 ms is dangerous.

Buying a draik MP from potions in <500 ms is a death wish whereas buying a draik MP from the Attic in less then 500 ms is what you should be aiming for.

It is just as "speed dependent": you still need to be faster than everyone else going for the item you want. You just also need to bear in mind that there are limits to consider. Just because you are not trying to minimise a factor, does not make it unimportant. Or even less important.

Do you know why an EC2 machine may have a faster buy time than a home machine? Because of location, and because of their connection speed. Both of these things are a factor when buying on home machines too - acknowledging them and accounting for them lowers your risk however you happen to be ABing.

When used properly, virtual machines are absolutely not any more risky. Improper users who remain voluntarily ignorant should be encouraged to get themselves frozen anyway.

There is also a huge luck factor because everyone can't go below a certain time (to its unsafe/unhuman). Even if you have the fastest settings that are safe, that doesn't mean you'll get all the items :( For the attic its fine if you set the settings really low, which makes it a true game of speed.

None of this is relevant to the false suggestion that MSABing on a virtual machine is riskier than doing so on a home machine.
