You forgot 'tatted yeti with earmuffs' and 'gopher with a hat'. And they're still better than Putin's Crash Bandicoot thing.

They did in Vancouver but Germany and USA are pretty good too (gold medal leaders of Turin Olympics).

for a country of less than 10mil people, norway sure did pretty well. no matter what their standing is in the end of the day, i bet they would bag the most medals per capita.

Even though I hate Canadians (you guys have to admit you're pretty vanilla) I love that the Dufour-Lapointe sisters won gold and silver. It must have been an amazing feeling to have made it so far after so much hard work, and have your sister right beside you. It's almost enough to make me tear up. Almost. Then I remember that even though I love them, my older sister is a dumb fat bitch and my younger sister is a dumb flakey ho. I wonder if the Dufour-Lapointe sisters feel the same, since their oldest sister finished like in 13th place. I wonder if they're like, "Way to go, you dumb fat bitch".

Men's hockey and figure skating today, and I get to see it because I work later today. WHOO HOO!!

Then you have NBC ignoring them and focusing on capturing all of Hannah Kearney's tears on camera. American entitled sadness outweighs Canadian cuteness, I guess.

I've been fortunate enough to catch some of the LIVE coverage on NBCSN in the early mornings. I can't stand coverage that is tailored to a dimwitted American audience. I want the full story.

I was so sad this morning when Plushenko dropped out of the men's figure skating competition. Part of me really wished that he had performed despite the pain, just so we could see him one last time. But then again if he wasn't at his best, his pride wouldn't let him give a half assed attempt. I guess. :/

Exactly. I thought I was immune to this herd mentality, but no. It was amazing. It made me want to stand up and punch my mother with excitement.
