One of my favourite snacks is eggy bread. Makes a great snack if you cut the bread into fingers, can just sit there and snack on them

That doesn't sound terribly low-brow It's not really on the same level as, say, nachos made with tater-tots. Or maltesers squished in with popcorn.

Toast with peanut butter and condensed milk, not sure if it is considered 'low-brow' but its a Chinese thing. Its delicious mmmmm, craving some right now.

Toast with turkey cold cut with mayo, relish, garlic and salt. ._.

Some of you mentioned you eat white rice with soy sauce..

 

I used to do that but I no longer use soy sauce.
Instead, I eat rice with korean galbi marinade sauce. More expensive but infinitely more delicious.

Its a Taiwanese thing where they use thick white bread, put condensed milk on it then they bake it so the sugar in the milk caramelizes creating a warm stick to your teeth milk flavored bread. What i do is toast my bread, slather some peanut butter on it then pour a little condensed milk over it and just eat it like that.

Hell if I know. I only use it for dulce de leche and bannoffee pie. (I used to make pineapple upside down cake with it too, but making vanilla gluten free cake is either expensive or tastes like shit.)
