Never had this happen and today it did.. so pissed someone I guess reported me for cheating in KQ.. And I never have! So people can just report anyone they want? Is being silenced a bad thing? Like can being iced happen if some random person decides they hated losing to me in KQ and want to report me again?
Account silenced?

You can get silenced and/or iced for any reason that any person can think of. Someone probably got butthurt and reported you and TNT didn't even look into it.
Sorry
Try sending in a ticket maybe?

Yeah I sent a ticket asking basically same thing.. I am active on the KQ board on neo and talk about cheaters all the time on there and I have reported many of them lol! I guess ill have to stop playing KQ if I risk getting frozen for no reason.. Thats crazy that I have to live in fear of my account being frozen because someone doesnt like me and I can do nothing about it... messed up TNT!

Silencing tends to relate to social interactions, say if you've called someone stupid for getting upset.
Freezing tends to be to do with rule breaking, silencing is more to do with people getting butthurt.

Silences can accumulate and eventually lead to a perma-silence on your account if you've gotten too many.
They also get longer with each silencing.

Call me antisocial but that's why I do not have any interaction on Neopets.
That thing "being friends with someone/ exchange NM/ talking/ post "hi" on a topic" is the kind of thing that can send your account to iceland.
Just don't do it. ![]()

My account got suspended for 24 hours for "cheating" in keyquest. I froze during a game and the other person was winning so they probably assumed I rage quit and reported me. I opened a ticket on a side account pretty much right away, explaining that I didn't do it on purpose, that my character was lagging weird the whole time etc. They lifted the ban about 14 hours in and said that they "made some notes" on my account about the incident (that my internet sucks?). Being a premium member probably helped. They don't know what happens in the KQ games, they just take the persons word for it that you were cheating ![]()

I do this when I play KQ, I immediately write down my opponents name so if something happens I can immediately send a neomail explaining what happened.
As for the silencing, did you ever send a neomail to someone telling them in anyway that quitting to avoid losing is reportable? (even in a nice way just asking what happened can get you silenced.). Did you ever call someone a cheater directly? (like say "hey so and so is a cheater").
With KQ, if something happens wait for your opponent to neomail, better to play it safe than ask and get silenced for it.

Chances are you will not get un silenced. Tnt doesn't care once its done, its done.
He didn't exactly say if it was a permanent silencing. He just said he was silenced. If it was a normal silencing, it's on a time limit (I think it's 24 hours for the first one) and when it's up he can go back to talking. (he did say he'd never been silenced before, so I'm going to bet on it not being a perma silence). The ticket he sent was to ask TNT to look into a possible report someone sent about him (because he thinks that might be why he got silenced), because he might have been reported for cheating and he's never cheated.

Yes, I know
But the chances of tnt unsilencing him because it was unfair are next to none. That is what I was saying.

Yep, no matter how long the silencing is, this is true ![]()

Why do people play KQ anyway? Are there any valuable or exclusive prizes from it?
Seems much riskier considering the fact that people report you so often for it. ![]()

If I had to guess, it's one of the more stable, but low output forms of legit NP gaining that doesn't involve excessive refreshing or waiting. It's more entertaining than staring/checking at a page for a very long time.

Ah, thank you. Your first post didn't seem exactly clear to me on what you were referring to, since the because clause was left out.
As for KQ @Bulbasaur
it gives out lab map pieces, which is one reason people play, and codestones and neggs. So you can make over 800k by winning the 1st map piece, plus the codestones/neggs/other map pieces/PB's you can sell. I just play against myself, I don't want to deal with report happy players.

How do you play against yourself?

Make 2 accounts, play them against each other. Alternate wins. Get rare items.
Maybe I need to be more specific.
How do you play against yourself SAFELY. I was under the impression that the person you're paired with is random?
Does TNT check IPs for this game?

You can invite people to a game, so you can invite your shell account to your game to make sure you don't play against random people. (Both accounts must be online and in a KQ "room", like fan clubs or experts.) If they check IP's, I don't know if they do, I'd use a proxy on one of the accounts. It'll just look like two friends playing against each other. (Or that's what I did with my accounts, I had fake convos to make them seem like friends so it wouldn't seem too odd).Maybe I need to be more specific.

Yeah it was 24hr silence for me... and yeah KQ gives PB and Lab map pieces along with some good neggs thats why i like it and its pretty fun! But I dont wanna risk people being mad cause they lose to me and get me in trouble so I am only playing NFs from now on I think..
