My very first pet was a green Zafara with a ridiculous name. XD So I guess Zafaras used to be my fave. They just stood out for me.

Nowadays though, my favourites tend to be the generic Lupes and Kougras, though I do love Ogrins (I know not many people do but Ogrins are cool, man).

I also have a soft spot for Pirate pets (have yet to own one though). UC Baby Kougra is also a favourite

I really love Blumaroos and Aishas, so cute and fun to customize

Any Chocolate painted pet or Elderly pet. If I had to choose a species, though, I'd say Cybunny. I want to like Gnorbus but.. Just too hard to customize.
