Do the tokens have any other use than to collect and brag about? It would be really cool if one could collect oh-so-many tokens and convert it for use in battle, or exchange for a pet. I wanna a Ice Imp with fantastic hair so bad right now.

It's just a collection. I will probably be adding feats for reaching milestones in the collection, which will have titles associated, but that'll be all.
 
Pets will be in the game, as a cosmetic item, but they will be separate from tokens, and will mostly not be related to enemies. Although some of the pets could be achievement rewards...

And it appears A Run is not compatible with the Android browsers, including Firefox (including beta), Chrome, Default, Dolphin, and UC Browser. Tried on Tablet and and S2. Flash player all updated. Nothing shows up, just a blank screen.
