OMG! I LOVE MATH BLASTER! It's actually taught me math and fueled my gaming sensation before apple was cool. Reading Blaster not so much. I hated how the "final stage game" is a race that has nothing to do with reading. I feel old. *wipes tears with AOL discs*

Does anyone know how Jumpstart runs online games? It might actually be an improvement over viacom

Jumpstart has a nice collection of mobile games, maybe this will bring neopets into the 21st century.

I doubt they'll change the filters since they have a reputation for being child-friendly and they won't want to jeopardise that.
I guess this means that the Neopets' servers will be changing location though so that could affect the speed restocking/autobuying for people.

Yeah I hope! I can't write some words in Dutch because they look like violent words in English ![]()
But their site doesn't seem to be for an older audience.. http://www.jumpstart.com/

It wouldn't hurt to lessen the restrictions though, they've come a long way already with facebook and mentioning certain fan sites.

These days, it doesn't seem all that challenging.
While I share that general sentiment, I've yet to find a browser game I enjoy anywhere near as much as Neopets.
They all suck

Imagine if they completely fuck up the site though oh my god it'd be so hilarious :V I kinda hope it happens so I can just laugh at it forever like I'm already laughing at the thought of someone actually buying Neopets in the year 2014, when was the last time the site was popular??? When dinosaurs were around?? Hahaha

yeah, I'm curious how RS/ABing will be affected, if at all.
I guess there isn't much we can do, hopefully this is for the good. We shall see.

unless they do a complete revamp of the site/programming, rs'ing/ab'ing should be the same.

According to their site, they're based in California. I guess the servers would be there too then.

People will probably experience some changes in speed since they currently use Viacom's/Nickelodeon's servers in New York to host the site and that's likely to change to either JumpStart's servers that they use for other games or back to California with Neopets themselves.

Considering they do a lot of mobile games and stuff, if they do make a good Neopets App, hopefully a lot more people might start playing Neo though...
