Lurking the boards and someone just came up with this interesting idea, if it gives avatars, it should also take away avatars too. 

 

Thoughts?

 

Some refresh avatars took 15 mins of my life pressing the F5 key, not a good idea to take them away from me

Funny that I only see people with 320+ avatars and 110+ month accounts mostly complaining.

 

I have avatars that I prefer never to go public again, but I can swallow my pride and enjoy the game regardless. My Sloth champion and maraquan warrior avatars are my treasures, but they're just momentos of a fun past and not invested real life gold.

 

Above all, I like prideful people being screwed over and bitching hopelessly about it. It's oddly cathartic.

 

I would be pissed if I spent 500 million NP to get a stamp album avatar, and then watched people get it randomly.

Taking away avatars is a big "no" for me even though I like seeing the snooty 1% of neo struggle. I'm the type of person loves peoples' pride and ignorance crushed, but it hurts me to see people actually lose things.

 

Similarly, I was so happy with the release of the NC item Golden Altador Wig with Ribbon even though I had one myself from the original event. There were snoots that need to be brought down a peg. The reaction is the same: the "rich" drowns in their own bitter tears while the rest of us laughs and play along.

Oh look, another useless RE for me. Yay. As for taking away avatars, I'm going to say no. The rich/snoots need to get off their high horses and enjoy the game, instead of finding something to boohoo over.

They should design this so the requested items list gets updated regularly by searching for items that are priced at 1np. If it keeps asking for the same items, naturally those get inflated =_="

Exactly, I agree.

I have 340+ avatars and I'm welcoming the idea of getting avatars this way. It wouldn't happen often, anyway.

I mean, I'd prefer if there was a way to get retired avatars, I'd work for it.
I also like the suggestion to give out rare stamps instead of stamp avatars etc.

 

But even though I worked hard for my avatars (got at least most of them legally ), let other people get them. I don't see the difference between being lucky at this daily or getting a random avatar like snowager, which sometimes people with <1 month are getting, as others need >7 years to get that.
