Total lunar eclipse tonight, visible for all of North America and most of the Western hemisphere. It's supposed to start at 1am CST.

 

You can rest assured that if you're looking at the moon tonight, Napi's freezing her ass off looking at the same moon.

I think you're far enough east that you won't get the really good part, but you'll still get the beginning hourish of it.

I know the feeling. I'm REALLY SUPER FUCKING EXCITED about this because the past 4 meteor showers I like were on cloudy days and it's supposed to be so clear here tonight.

 

Plus, the last time I saw a lunar eclipse I was really high and my friends convinced me it was a hallucination for 2 years.

Here, where I am, 45 minutes west of Methtown, it's clear as a clean toilet.

This is a regularly cleaned toilet bowl, if you ignore the hinges. We actually have a new seat for the toilet, but neither of us have gotten around to installing it.
