[Boggart]

Is there a movie that you love and just watch over and over? I have a friend who is obsessed with the Emperors New Groove and watches it... probably 2-3 times a week. I have a friend who watches the Titanic every week. Still cries every single time. I need more male friends...

 

Anyway I was wondering if other people have a similar trend. Because I rarely watch a movie more than once or twice. That being said, I don't even watch most movies once (I'm the worst).

 

It doesn't even have to be presently; it could be the past. For example, I DID watch the Sound of Music about 50 times as a child. But I haven't seen it since I was 5 and don't really remember a damn thing. I think Maria sat on a pinecone?

Take the Imdb top 250 with a grain of salt. The most recent hobbit movie is more highly rated than Jurassic Park.

Commando is possibly my all time favourite movie. Maybe because it was the first "adult" movie I was allowed to watch.

I find myself getting too excited about rollerball bein on tv (the remake) and find myself watching South Park a lot.

The Godfather, Mad Max, Kill Bill, and Castaway are all movies I've seen a ridiculous number of times. I could probably recite the entire script for Mad Max for you on the spot.

Mother, is that you? Can't say shit to shame y'all that watch those awful action movies, they are totally fun to watch and rewatch.

 

I couldn't make it past the first 5 minutes of The Social Network. Blech. Thinking of someone watching it numerous times blows my mind.

I don't rewatch movies, even though I have a terrible memory and forget everything that has happened in everything I've watched so far. Watching movies multiple times seems like such a waste of time for me xD.. I rather watch something new.

As for the IMDB top 250, we've seen quite a few on the list though not all. We'll probably get through the whole list at some point but its tough to do when some of those movies are so long!
