And I'm happy to have made a contribution to the site.

 

I'm curious though, if the benefits are still what they were 4 years ago. I've noticed that all the boards relating to Private/Advanced are rather.. descolate.

What exactly does Advance reward you with?

Advanced gives you the ability to customize settings in the various program (more so than not having advanced), you also get access to items lists to put into abrosia. Most importantly though, you get the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing that you helped support this awesome site

 

EDIT: To be honest, I've been Advanced+ for so long, I can't even remember what the benefits are anymore.

EDIT: To be honest, I've been Advanced+ for so long, I can't even remember what the benefits are anymore. 

Adv+ is everything advanced, plus the ability to nominate/vote other members into adv+ and a rainbow user bar.

I think the + is the most important part. Being as pretentious as I am, I'd never want to be just plain advanced, + is where its at! 

 

I think the higher ranks should change too, Private+ and Retired+ yah?

I understood that there were forums that it allowed me to access, and I have been making great use of the program, so I decided to spend the $5. Not a huge deal *shrug* I've saved more than $5 of my time using it.

There's not a lot happens in the advanced+ forums. 

The main perks of being advanced relate to abrosia, rather than the forums.

It was, but that forum wasn't adv+ exclusive. You just needed to have regular advanced. On another note, soup is delicious.
