Also while we're on the topic of deserts in general. >.>

I absolutely LOVE Java Chillers from Sonic. The Hazelnut ones are addicting.

My favourite desert is the sahara

It took me longer than it should have to realize you meant desserts, not deserts.

damn it beat me to it

Lol... I have always messed those two up. It's like my brain thinks of desserts and stops functioning properly.

My teacher always said "remember desserts has two s's because you can never have "two" much dessert!"

    I was in grade 5

I don't know. My one teacher told me that when I was in the 5th grade. I don't know if other people learned that same lesson at that time if at all. I am not in the education field nor is my anecdotal evidence an accurate indicator for this question. So really, it's moot.

    Fair enough.

Makes me wonder what other words I missed out on though. Napi mentioned another I'd never heard about.

Do you know of any others?

I have spellcheck to remind me it's wrong but it doesn't actually fix it for me.

Another word that messes me up is eventually. I used it always spelled it eadventually. wtf.

I've noticed I've gotten sloppier with my spelling and started relying on spell-check to catch my mistakes a lot more in recent years.

Same. It's bad. ALthough it mostly occurs when I"m typing. When I'm writing it isn't as bad. Also, I almost never write anything manually anymore.

For some reason I can never type the word 'seriously' properly even though I know how to spell it.
