PANGORO!!

[Dewgong]

Dewgong of course. Kinda stemmed back from when I got my first booster pack in a Meijer store. Got a holo nidoking and a dewgong, but for some reason I liked Dewgong better.

Kinda disappointing on the stats side, but it just holds nostalgia for me.

IT really needs something like a mega evolution to help bring it back.

Getting an ability like Fur Coat maybe would help it.

Mareep! ...but this little cutie is a close second... Joltik!

Reason? Just look at them!

My favorite color is yellow, so that probably has a lot to do with it too.

Ditto!

The most useful pokemon of all

Though I completed the whole game with an unevolved pancham =3 Solomon rulez

[Artleyz]

My favorite is the Charizard.  I'm old fashioned, so I don't know most of the newer (or even what most of you would consider old) pokemon.  Charizard's always insanely powerful but then they portray him as lazy and disobedient.  Plus I've played way too much Fire Red.

[4RM4N1]

Mewtwo, cause he is a real badass.

[squishface]

Rayquaza because he represents my birthstone, and BECAUSE HE IS A GODDAMN GREEN SNAKE DRAGON THAT BURNS EVERYTHING IN ITS PATH                             kill me

why am i even here                                      neopets thats why!  People still play this oh god

The spork is sacred and should never be used out of bounds

[Rowlet]

Zangoose was my favorite for awhile because of its "wow edge" factor but now I don't really have a favorite; tends to fluctuate depending on what I'm feeling at the time!

Hoping Rowlet evolves into something cool because right now it is my baby

[yeahneocodex]

Eevee and the eevelutions, because THEY ARE SO FREAKING AWESOME AND CAN TURN INTO DIFFERENT AND AWESOME AND -okIstopped

[Generic]

Favorite would probably be just because I think it looks so damn awesome but I use more in battles for obvious reasons. As a kid I always had a soft spot for though. Pikachu can go electrocute team rocket or something, Jolteon is the true electric hero of Gen 1. Although Zaptos is pretty great too.

Call me a genwunner if you want, they're still my favorites mostly. Though a few later generation pokemon are also really neat:

Trevenant just has such a fun set imo using Harvest, Sitrus Berry, Leech Seed, Substitute, Curse and Horn Leech.

Favorite? Snover! Why? Because of it's cry:

Otherwise, my favorites are Infernape and Ampharos. I tend to favor sweepers and special sweepers and I also love fire and electric types. Infernape can be an awesome power house if it's trained up right and Ampharos is my first love from the original Gold/Silver because of the lighthouse storyline and because it was finally an electric type that could kick ass without an evolutionary stone.

Umberon, I love the dark Evo of evee... it is just so beautiful, and sleek. Dies ist mein, und es ist gut.

[WarezHaxor]

This is a tough one...when I was younger I was a big fan of charizard, but I also loved all the legendary birds...when gold and silver came out it was definitely celebi. Though the surfing Pikachu mini games will always hold a special place for me. Nidoking was always a favorite too.

[Daenarys]

Espeon for me (obviously xD) because

- purple is an awesome color

- it's a sun pokemon <3

- it's pretty strong and I've always liked special attackers more :3c

- my nickname is a variant of the japanese name and I've been using it for a very long time

Espeon is definitely mine too, for all the same reasons as you besides the last one

Espeon if trained properly is so strong, i always have one on my team. It's Special Attack is amazing!

[hotcoldyay]

Umbreon I just love his defensive maneuvers, and though he's no longer that viable, I still love his design.

[RedHyena]

Weavile! I raised a Sneasel in HG post-game because I'd never trained one before, and I ended up loving Weav when it evolved. Great speed and a hard-hitter too. Since then it's always been my favorite.

[meody]

Absol <3 Dunno why just always liked it the most.

[jasonlumar]

Bellsprout. Looks like a twiggy alien man but when you get that razor leaf going he's a bad ass.

[Goingtohell]

Lucario. He looked quite cool in the shows with his aura sphere. Also, the fact that my first legit golden pokemon was Riolu, the prevolution of Lucario just made me like him even more.

Absol, Ralts, and Abra are quite nice as well.

As for legendarys, it has to be Mew. Nothing beats Mew.

[Dollars]

Only ever played the original games, Squirtle was always my favorite

Though on second though Slowbro was pretty cool too, I love that they made a slacker pokemon

[SamanthaBee]

My favorite pokemon is vulpix because it's cute but deadly with her fire

[diebuster]

Ferroseed/Ferrothorn impressed me so much that it became my new favorite when I went back to Pokemon. The damned durian refused to die to anything at all.

Wobbuffet. Looks great, is unique in how he's played, amazingly fun ( maybe not for the opponent ) in random wifi battles and caused absolute mayhem when he got Shadow Tag in gen 3.

I am really, really happy that Shadow Tag isn't banned on console. Nothing can replicate that feeling of facing children who have never met Wobbuffet in battle and countering / mirroring them for a 1-hit KO.
