I first saw this back in my high school psychology course. There is nothing particularly unethical about the experiment because she unconditioned the children afterwards and they were old enough to comprehend what was going on when she explained it. Unethical is when you condition a baby named Albert to be afraid of white fluffy things by banging pots really loudly whenever he sees a bunny or a stuffed toy and then just leave him traumatized. Albert was even afraid of Santa Clause. Poor little guy.

I love this woman's method of teaching. When/if I ever have children I think I might use the same technique when they're old enough to comprehend just what's going on and learn from it.
