I was thinking about getting neopets premium, and I was wondering if it was worth it or not. :o

Anyone have any advice regarding it? It would be greatly appreciated! :)

Also I know that you needed a referral before, do you get anything if you refer someone now? If so I'd be glad to put someone as my referral!

I don't even think they have a referral system for it anymore. Anyway, if you got the money laying around and want to spend it on neopets. Does pricing your shop or whatever easier sound appealing? Have you always wanted a 5th pet? If so then I guess it's worth it.

The selling point for Premium is the Super Shop Wizard. You decide if that's worth the monthly fee for you.

(And you get Battledome challengers with better prizes but NP is not really an issue if you use programs.)

I personally find premium to be worth it :)

The Cosmic Dome is a bit helpful as sometimes, it gives out Nerkmids.

There's also the weekly Scratch Card Faerie thing.

And then there's charter although slower than the regular neoboards.

I also enjoy the monthly NC collectable.

But what I really like about premium is the SSW feature and toolbar where you can customize your dailies.

If you're a RSer, the SSW would really be worth it. I have a friend who computed the fee and she came up with the computation of $0.20/day and said it wasn't really that bad at all so she signed up for it and got our 3 other friends to sign up and so far, all 4 of them have been enjoying it. :)

Having the ssw is completely worth it.

Having premium means you'll likely get lent of the big three.

I used to have it a long time ago after someone gave me a referral and I forgot to cancel. It was neat having the SSW and I always felt I was less likely to get frozen for having premium. However, nowadays I can't justify spending that kind of money, or any money for that matter, on Neopets.

I've had Premium for years, it's great. SSW, 5th Pet, Cosmic Dome (Nerks are prizes)...and the Premium Charter boards. Nice, helpful people on there, done a lot of NC trading with people there too. Way nicer than the regular boards.

I would disagree with everybody here. It's not bad, but it doesn't warrant $5-7 a month.

The best perks are the nerkmids from the battledome (about 1 or 50-80k a day) and the SSW.

However, the SSW isn't that amazing. Depending on what you buy, you save only a couple percentage. Also, doing a normal search 3 or 4 times allows to usually find the lowest price.

Another perk is "free" monthly NC item.

If I were you, I would try it out for a month before committing yourself to the 4 month or 12 month pack, as you might regret it later.

I've been thinking about doing that 1 month trial. Waiting until I get a faster interweb connection though, and new computer. I'm running on windows 95 it seems :\

I didn't even know there was a Premium neopets... Is it the one that gives you an avatar or something?

For as long as neopets has been around I would of thought that they would allow users to adopt more than 4 at a time, but I guess that's why they allow us to have side accounts.

I wouldn't sign up for premium IMHO because if you're frozen, even if it was their mistake, I don't believe you get refunded. That's what I read anyway. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

They won't refund you. They'll offer to transfer it to another Neopets account though.

The only "perk" in my opinion is the 5th pet edition. Other than that? Nope. It's so easy to get frozen for doing almost nothing wrong, so not worth the money in my mind.
