I hate neopets.

I hate TNT.

I hate the lack of updates.

I hate the declining player base.

I hate the way players are forced to adhere to rules made for kids.

I hate that the companies that buy/own Neopets don't care about sentimental values.

I hate everybody on the neoboards.

I hate how NC items are being churned out, while everything else is left in disrepair.

I hate how they remove games/site content instead of fixing it.

 

Most of all, I hate how I can't stop playing this game.

 

I searched for a topic like this, but I didn't find one.

 

1) I figured there should be a place to list all the things we hate about Neopets/TNT.

2) On the flip side, we can also list the reasons we keep coming back.

 

I'm interested to see everybody's complaints/love of this game.

 

Personally: sentimental reasons.

Many of the texts that I have filled out (store front, pet description, ect) are left untouched. It's nice and jarring to remember my thought process as a kid.

Also, the ability to hoard Neopoints is kinda addicting.

 

A huge part of me hopes that I never get frozen.

BUT, there's that tiny part that hopes that I get frozen, so that I can stop playing this horrible and addicting excuse of a game.

 

I love neopets so much.

Oh wow, so much to say... in general, I hate how draconian their policies are - especially the ones that mean I can't troll a little or tell people to subtly, or otherwise, go fuck themselves, and I hate how they won't tell you why they won't let you post a message with the whole "the text that we won't let you post is ' ' " bullshit.

 

On the other hand, I want to be rich and be able to afford everything (or sell stuff for £££), and I still play for the same reason Ash Ketchum keeps on trying and failing to beat the various Pokemon leagues.

 

Neopets is the best game ever there are literally no flaws everyone on the boards are nice what are you talking about?

I wish there was a game to cheat on neopets. It would make the game 10x better.

I hate the people on the neopets trading board that advertise that their prices are super crazy low, lower than ever before.  But they don't list the prices.  And then...  when you actually take the time to mail them, it turns out that their prices aren't just high.  They're CRAZY SUPER FUCKING HIGH.

 

I wish everyone on the TP would just list their prices.  It ain't hard.

Pretty much agree with everything that is said in the first post. Just wanted to also add that the neoboards are full of fuckwads, especially the PC.
