OK, here are some pictures of the engagement ring. It's a custom-designed, modernised version of the engagement ring that Napoleon Bonaparte gave to Josephine. I think she likes it!

@Kat, you're going to have the same problem I do where shaped engagement rings are gorgeous but they're a flipping nightmare to have a wedding band sit nicely alongside,
After a long, long search I finally found one that fits really nicely behind mine, and I didn't even have to get it custom made! Yay!
