I used to dress up every year, and assemble my friends to go trick-or-treating with me.
However, since moving to Maine last August, I've had no possible way of going trick-or-treating; I live in a rural area and going into the less-rural areas are not very safe.
So, I just buy a bunch of Halloween candy... and extra half-price if I didn't go trick-or-treating.
Which seems like I'll be buying extra candy these next few years, lol. ;_;
Since I work I plan on leaving this in case of trick or treaters. Not sure if we get any here since I just moved.

Oh my god, this is amazing. xD
When I was younger, my mom would take me trick-or-treating, so we'd leave a bucket of candy at our doorstep fro trick-or-treaters.
We stopped doing that after a couple years because we would come back after only an hour and a half or so and the whole thing would be gone... bucket included.
Eventually found out that it was a Mexican family (I lived in Texas) driving their children in a truck and picking up said buckets from every house that did so.
