Slimjet... Interesting. Never heard of it. Where did you hear about it, if I might ask?

It looks as if it has some nice features, but nothing really catches my eye - except for the NPAPI support. I might have to check this out so I can get some of the older games' avatars. Opera works for some of them, but I'm 99% sure that they stopped supporting NPAPI as well. Blegh.

Also, their website is super cheesy lol :p  family_small.jpg

Hi,

I heard about Slimjet from the Windows 7 forums, after asking on there if there was a way to disable Chrome automatic updates. (I did NOT want Chrome 45.0.x to be installed on my machine, as that would totally remove NPAPI support).

The current version is based on Chromium v44 so works fine - they are trying to work around the version 45+ restrictions to continue NPAPI support. Plus, there is the option to totally turn off auto updates, so if there's ever going to be a problem, you can stick on an old version quite nicely.

They also have a list of old versions so you can install one of those.

Also think that the newest version of Slimjet has a built in ad blocker, though chances are this can be disabled, and I don't need it since I already have ABP.

Opera probably won't support NPAPI either because Opera is now based on Chromium.

One of the programs at work only works on Internet Explorer. Everything else I use Google Chrome.

At home, I use Firefox

Chrome for me! Used to use Firefox, but switched to Chrome after I realised it loaded faster, had a cleaner interface, and just generally seemed to work more smoothly and cleanly.

I tried Firefox again, after some time having not used it, when I was trying to load Ghost Catchers on Facebook on it (since Chrome doesn't allow GC's Unity Web Player). Sure enough, Firefox felt slower and more clunky again. Switched back soon to Chrome after that.

I used firefox for a long time, then switched to chrome and when I got back to Neopets I switched back to Firefox 'cause I felt it was better for the game because of the scripts. After a month or two it got REALLY laggy. I tried reinstalling and nothing. Switched back to chrome and there's a huge difference.

Chrome all the way, up until it breaks and requires a damn clean install because whatever breaks it, is usually a part of the os... <_<

I voted in this awhile back but apparently it didn't work xD

I used to exclusively use chrome, but then I got a mac and started using Safari because it saved battery. Now I'm on a Surface and am using Edge, which is fast but lacking a heap of features (I miss you Chrome) but at the same time, if I'm at Uni without a charger I don't want my Surface to die out on me.

At work I use IE.

Chrome! It's the most suited for me with gmail and all. It's really nice to use.

Firefox sometimes. Usually when chrome is down.

IE? HAHAHA never.

userscripts.org has been done for some time now. If you're looking for scripts we have this guide on them:

http://www.neocodex....rstyles-thread/

It has easy links to all the scripts on in it.

It was in our guide directory under general neopets programs.

http://www.neocodex....uide-directory/

It's the one stop shop for all your questioning needs.

It's a large guide so if you're ever looking for something specific, try finding the category it would fit best under and looking there. The categories make things a bit easier. If you still can't find it, try using control/command-F to search for it. A single word search or just a few words is usually best.

For some reason I started using Chrome after being a Firefox supporter.

Never changed back since I like Chrome more for some reason.

I use chrome on computers and safari on my phone since it's an apple phone. Chrome is just familiar to me, it's easy to put extensions/scripts/etc. onto it and I'm so used to it I don't think I'd ever change. Sometimes I use IE to see if something happening to me is a browser issue, but that's only because IE came with my computer and FF did not.
