If you do, my 2008 altima i bought a month ago is a little loud, makes a sort of a grindy noise, nothing new, not too loud, just seems a little loud. It is my first CVT but it seems a little off?

Should i be worried?

Only reason i bought the car was it WAS CHEAP. People were moving out of state, nice older couple.

Not familiar with grindy noises, but those are always the best sounds a car could make.

Do you know the general vicinity that the noise is coming from? A grindy noise is too broad to narrow anything down at all.

Well i took it to the shop to get new tires and they told me the noise was coming from the tranny, to be fair the breaks + rotors need some work... but it just seems to be louder than it should be

Only problem is it would cost a ton to even get someone to look at it, and if the CVT is bad replacing that is almost twice the cost of the car.
