Deadline is 2 weeks from today, midnight CST, aka napistandard. (Nov 3, 2014)

 

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, will be to take a photograph (or choose one from your own back catalogue) that satisfies the theme as best you can manage.

There will be two winners each month, one selected by a small panel of judges made of the previous contests' winners, and another based on a public vote. There will be no runners up, and one person may win both prizes.

Prizes will include a shiny award, and potentially donations from community-minded members.

 

As per usual, I fucked up the last contest. There weren't supposed to be 2nd and 3rd place winners lol. Anyway. @Emily, you are the judge panel for this round, as you won the public vote and the judge panel vote. Entrants, Emily is very hard to impress. She is a virgo.

Ooh, definitely planning to enter this if I'm not too much of a space-case to forget. I have some wicked pictures from a recent trip to Switzerland that would look wonderfully spooky with some tweaking.

I don't think so. I think the pictures should have very minimal editing, if any at all. I think everyone should be on the same playing field.

^^ i request a digital camera with a fancy lens then, since the quality of my last submission wasn't very good (due to lack of equipment) and others were brilliant.

In my opinion it would be better to not use an app at all where's the fun in that right ? maybe something like auto- contrast or auto-color after you took a picture is fine. I'm loving the theme 'Spooky' and gonna give all my best for this one too !

Yeah sorry but i don't think the the app should be used in the competition. It gives someone who might not have a smartphone a disadvantage. Although who the fuck am I to talk, im banned from competitions XD
