    Maybe this one works...

It does work, that's fabulous! Thank you for sharing. :)

@Kate and @Prisca, y'all are way stronger and experienced life more than I am, being that I have never had to go through the rigors of taking care of babies! I salute you both (as well as anyone who has dealt with such).

@Kate I feel like it would be rather easy if you started early enough, but the mum thing... not much can be done about that :lol2:

Lol honestly, that's awesome too. I think being able to hand babies back to their parents after cuddles is probably a great feeling haha.

hehe thanks for your salute, it truly is a whole new world, but as for the experience, i think most of it comes down to surviving. hehe. Motherly instincts did not come naturally to me. I still have no idea what is going on half the time  :lol2:

This! With Braden I tried putting diapers on backwards, mixing his formula wrong, awkwardly holding him because I was afraid to break him lol.
My husband was worse. He dropped a hot noodle on his face while eating and once let him fall off the couch whilst playing xbox. Parenting was an acquired taste for us.

I absolutely adore babies and children, but never got around to it...spent a seeming eternity grinding away in grad school, then trying to find my place in my career, but I guess more importantly...I didn't manage to find someone I even cared to be around until I was 37 years old!  :lol2: he's my soul mate and I adore the hell out of him though, and though we don't have kids and neither of us wants to (we wouldn't be able to provide the best home with our hours and finances, and I think that's important to consider), we properly spoil those of others. :)

haha. that is golden! we have had the old 'fell of the bed' scenario. I used to hold him in front of me (like rafiki to simba) when he cried, someone would eventually come and take the baby. lol.

We are going Texas themed in honor of our texas home... are we all wearing ninja turtle costumes then? XD

Thanks heaps, Prisca, and yep it's ironic: I met him online a week to the day that I took a good long look at my life and where it was and had concluded to myself that I was happy and just going to not deal with wasting my time on relationship stuff. Yeah, famous last words. :p
