I'm surprised the overly PC people of America haven't tried to rename 'black' friday.
"Multicultural Friday!"
"Diversity Friday"
"African-American Friday!"

Nope, definitely not going out shopping on Black Friday. Probably not even online shopping or Cyber Monday because I'm trying to save, unless there's an insane deal on something I absolutely need.

I don't like the fact that all the good deals are happening on thanksgiving, and not on Black Friday. All the stores are undermining the point of thanksgiving
Corporate America controls all the holidays now. If it can make money, screw family! Anyone can start a family!

I'll be at home avoiding the crowds. Aussies don't celebrate Thanksgiving but we do celebrate Christmas and it's already a MASSIVE rush in the stores *shudders*

I do all my black friday online, if any. I may go to bed bath and beyond because they sent me a 20% off the entire purchase coupon.

I refuse to Black Friday shop, and I'm definitely not shopping on Thanksgiving. However, I am working for a friend at Hot Topic at the mall on Black Friday (1pm-5:30pm, easy shift). She is the manager, I guess they do like a "Friends and Family" hiring thing for Black Friday. It's minimum wage, but from then until the end of January I get 40% off of EVERYTHING, including promos/clearance/online/etc. They sell Funko Pop Vinyl figures, so I'm gonna probably buy a ton of those

I might nab a few things online. That's about it. I have no desire to go into any store and I work that afternoon.

Apparently I'm going to Target in the morning. Sigh. Pray for me.

Also I made sure to thank everyone I ran into and thanked them all for working. I've had to work during all major holidays before and I know when people appreciate you it helps take the stress down a few notches.

The Target near my house apparently had 2000 people lined up outside the store when they opened at 6 last night. What in the actual hell though. So much for spending time with family on Thanksgiving.
Then I went today and I didn't even have to wait in line to check out.
