[Rocket]

I don't have pictures because it's kinda lame.. but tonight I spent most of 3.5 hours building a rail to the desert because I was tired of going back and forth (and getting lost). I'm proud that you can just hit go and that I placed enough powered rails that you don't have to touch it until you get to the other end, just over a 2 minute journey. (I also used every single piece of gold I have mined so far and just barely had enough)

I may or may not make a sand castle on the other side. It also runs right past another village where someone seems to have captured the villagers

My jungle home on Dawn Haven is a work in progress...in fact, it was to have just been a small, temporary build...but I have fallen in love with the area; here's one of the rooms, and in the spoiler are additional images presenting more of the build:

 and thank you very much @Strategist ...omg I have never felt more alive with building than I do lately where I currently am, the environment just clicks for me amazingly well; tbh I never really considered myself such a major MC addict until now haha! Having the time of my life.

I've been crazy busy over at the Dataless822 server building my End city inspired base lately. Pretty happy with progress so far, will add more screenies later once I finish a couple of side projects.

 

 

Here's an album link, because there's quite a few pics. The area I built it was a lake, that has since been drained (with the much appreciated help of @Chameleon I might add ). I have added a heap more to the area too, but will add better screenies later when I get my shaders updated.

Yeah I'm all about both the Skyblock and Survival servers at Dawn Haven...I do think I've found my Minecraft home in them for sure. The fact that there are so damn many servers out there though attests to the fact that there is a broad variety of tastes, so at least we all find what we end up enjoying the most!

Thanks @Kord. Here's some more updated pics of my build so far. Managed to replicate an exact copy of an End City ship today, pretty happy with the outcome so far, now I just have to build the rest of the city on top of the existing bottom part I have done.

Omg @Strategist !!!  It's looking so awesome!  I keep looking for you to be on, but haven't seen you over there when I'm logging in/out.  And it seems like *somebody* is never on skype.... 

 

I really didn't expect to get so caught up long term in Sky block.  Usually I burn out due to lack of iron, but there's an ore plugin over on DH where your cobblestone gen brings up all the ores randomly by ratios.  Problem solved, and I'm hooked.  So hooked.  It's bad.

My last build attempts were a meridel-like castle(  i'm the grumpy king there! ) and a GIANT mob trap that went terribly wrong- RIP Steve

Here's a few of my new base over on JeepCraft.net. I finally picked a nice location to start on it. I plan on having a mini 'lakehouse' above the water, then the main base will be situated below it all underground.
