I believe the requirement for the site theme is only collect advent prizes

 

the candy cane is bonus and introduced in the past 3 years (snowflake previously)

since the site theme is long in existent, doubt tnt will change the code...

Winter Holiday

This site theme was originally awarded through a random event on Terror Mountain. It is now released annually as a prize from the Advent Calendar. There are requirements for getting this site theme, but they are not known at this time. (However, the editorial does state that the time of day does not matter.)

Most ppl on the boards said they got it even if they missed some days of clicking the candy cane
