People on the boards talking about autobuyers, and blaming us for the inflation

Neopets really shouldn't be asking their users to shell out massive amounts of nps to participate, I feel like it takes away the fun for most users. Not everyone cheats so they don't have big bucks.

It's not Neopets asking people to shell out big NPs to participate. It's simple supply and demand causing inflation that is entirely driven by the userbase.

That abbing topic is so funny and sad at the same time. There are too many innocent people xD

It has been discuss for days over this issue

as long as the people on the boards cannot get any items

they blame the cheaters

ridiculous

some ppl just have a better network, less lag and a lot of greed.

the rs and chat too

if they dont get the item, must be by the AB.

what !?! just because they think they got the perfect refresh *rolls eyes*

but how do they know exactly when that rs was. they could be already 1 sec slower

"MOMMY! SOMEONE PICKED THE TOY I WANTED BEFORE ME! THEY MUST HAVE STOLEN IT!! WAHHAAA! I WANT ITTTTT!"

I wonder how many people started goggling ABers and joined the site because of that tread...

I managed to snag a Scary Ink Frame for less than 99k.  I can easily make this up and sell my rock garden bgs, but GEEZ I hate this event...

I had a Scary Ink frame in my SDB (thank God for hoarding) and I've got the avatar. The Bone Vault and Relaxing Shenkuu Rock Garden backgrounds were prizes on Key Quest, I think.

[Cloud9]

Phew. Luckily kept a bunch of those Halloween bags around. Opened a couple and one popped out.

I love the idea that neopians are blaming cheaters for ruining this charity event. It's far less complex than that. Greed ruined the charity event. It's socially acceptable for legit players to grab up as many items as they can first thing in the morning to resell, but lets only draw attention to "the cheaters". It must be those invisible "cheaters" who bought everything out, they certainly arent all those fine legit players who are selling junk back to us for 400k. I'm saving my pitchforks for "the cheaters."

Spoiler

"ruined" ps I got my avatar

Already the resellers are complaining at the frame dropping so rapidly. I'm just laughing myself silly because I personally watched a bunch buy some for 99k expecting them to sell for triple that, and now they're losing NP.

Play smart, not greedy.

[KaibaSama]

Had all of them in my SDB. That's 8 days, got my avatar, I'm out.
