I hate shit like this that won't even give you a possible chance at a trophy. At least the other random events that take NP end up giving you a shot at a trophy.

Ugh, that sucks. I still haven't run into any REs like that one (knocks on wood) but if I do it better come with a trophy.

The last crap random event was when my Neopet's HP went down 3 points after I had trained it. :C

Mine was when the pant devil stole my water petpet paint brush after I just got it from random event -_-

Nothing is as bad as tnt deciding to fire the random freeze ray and freeze your account.

 

I've lost 1.5m to the tax beast before (after selling a PCC) but at least i got a gold trophy.

The worst I've gotten taken from me was when Pant stole a Petpetpet I've been trying to attach for a long time. I was severely pissed off.

Lost a million+ UB by it being zapped into sludge. Events like these are reasons why I keep a limited amout of NP with me and no items in my invent. If I do carry rares in my invent I always have decoy items. I also use quick stock or don't hit the refresh option when I'm handling my items.

This is a proper thread because I didn't even know this re was around. If I knew, I wouldn't have been as upset. That other thread has thousands of replies and are all over the place. "The more you know."

Also... the best random event is getting a lutari bead.

I guess I'm one of the luckier ones. I've had something happen but not at that level. I just bought a Kolvars Stamp and the Grundo Leader stole it. Not a big loss. The fact that I was wondering what the odds of these events taking place and then it actually happened. Oh well. Just goes to show you don't know what lies ahead until it hits.

I believe if you have lots in the TP they're safe as well. I could be wrong but considering you can't move items that are in the TP makes me believe that any items you have for trade are safe.
