Thanks I've been using PaintTool SAI, so far it's my favorite. I tried GIMP last week, didn't go so well

@Swarley Yeah, I use Sai for almost everything. The only things I use Pant.Net for are typing words and making circles

Ooh! I use SAI as my main program of choice. It's incredibly easy to use and the amount of variance in the brushes is nice, isn't it?

You should look up brush settings. There's entire blogs on Tumblr where artists share brushes and textures that have amazing effects. My favorite brushes emulate traditional tools like pencils and water coloring.

@Swarley MS Paint or Paint.Net? Paint.Net is far superior, and it's free and fairly lightweight

I haven't got to that point yet, because I've been busy since I got the tablet, but I'll look for that next week when I get less busy thanks for the tip!

MS Paint because it's faster to open, and I don't really do circles lmao but yeah, I've used Paint.net before ans it's way better. I might even have it installed xD
