[Hopeless]

Life's been weird and I have no new drawings yet You guys are awesome for sticking to this for this long already, kudos to all of you, seriously! 

 

Wall of non-useful Week 10 feedback (tried putting spoilers for each but it didn't make the post much shorter, sorry): 

@Swarley - That Toothless is coming along super nicely, it's really cool to see the progress I'm excited to see how you add to it this week.

 

@Prisca - oh my goodness your FB announcement is super cute~ did you paint that on a shirt? I can't tell from the photo.

 

@w0nderwall - My cat often gives me all of those emotions at once. That perfectly captures her vibe. 

 

@Liesa - Did you ever decide on illustration vs. graphic design for the next step in your classes? This is a third party perspective from someone on the internet, but dang girl, you could make serious money doing illustrations for a living.

 

@Bee - I don't watch the show (although I really, really should), but I can still tell that's Tyrion His mouth and chin look especially good!

 

@0ryx - This looks great! I tried doing something like this the other day on some FR thread, and I'm really, really bad at it. I'd be completely stumped at trying to gijinka an Imperial (either gender, really, what do you do with all the facial hair? A stylistic issue I never want to deal with).

 

@Wisdom - Those are fantastic hands - it's pretty awesome seeing your color palette and how much is possible with six shades. I'm always so afraid of putting shadows in the wrong places, but it looks like it pays off to do it well!

 

@Kord - Ooooh, nice textures! Also, for some reason, it's giving me some nostalgia - it kind of looks like something from some vintage-y television program, but I can't put my finger on what it reminds me of...

 

@Guppie - That is pretty cute ^^ I'm totally missing the reference, though.

 

@Tauriel - Nicely done, I like the shading you were able to achieve with the paint - I'm guessing you did this in acrylics since the background is super dark but the blossoms are still so bright This makes me want Spring to happen much sooner.

@Hopeless My friends and I were talking about this post because it was turning up on multiple websites and we're nerds like that.

 

We came to the conclusion that the only appropriate time to Catholic bless the ocean is when hell's trying to be on Earth.

 

Then we realized that anything that shits in holy water commits sacrilege and is damned.

 

But if hell's on Earth, the damned beast just stays and you're surrounded by aggravated devil turtles.

I used regular pencil and some watercolor pencils I had :3

Would it be evil if I drew this? Anyways aren't there like a whole thing in India where there is a  holy river and its dirty because people bath and drink.....*shudder*

Gosh, but I'm totally in love with those animal illustrations! You know how we're supposed to put stuff and styles we like in our System Book, right? Can I add your illustrations for inspiration? ^^ You know I'm not very fond of 'experimental' stuff and the list of illustrators we've gotten really doesn't appeal much to me : / but damn yours are so nice. That's the kind of illustrations I like : D

I still need to actually do my first for this thread lol. But I only have works in progress so far -_-' (like the stupid A1 portrait I need to start over again because it doesn't look like me at all TAT )
