[Hopeless]

So, I was pretty excited about some crackle babies that were about to hatch (which is rare because I'm generally not into crackle), and lo-and-behold, one of them ended up being a triple-thistle monstrosity. It doesn't look any better as an adult, either. 

 

First time I've hatched a triple, too - why did it have to be thistle? 

 

Anybody else have a surprisingly bad combo turn out from a nest, or a particular combination you're really hoping not to get? I'd love to see/hear about them.

 

*Sorry for the thisle-hate, lovers of thistle, if you exist.

That's a good point, it's probably not often that people take screenshots of horrible looking dragons.

Recently I hatched a Magenta Tiger / Lemon Eye Spots / White Underbelly Coatl.  Good god, she's an eyesore. ;___;

I actually used to really like Thistle - it's the main color of the first progen I picked out, and didn't realize until way later that I was dooming most of my future nests to be dominated by Thistle/Mulberry no matter what the mate.

My progens, since day one of me playing this game, have never had more than one egg together. -_- Same breed, tight color range... one egg. Every time.

At least she came out with the white underbelly! There's always a market for those (and eyeburners, for that matter).

I often have a problem with bad tertiary colors -_-' A few weeks ago, one of my Noc nests hatched and all three of them had beautiful primary and secondary colors. And then you get blue and azure for tertiary > <

 

Aah, I only have one egg in a nest of Coatl and Noc too right now : ( Let's hope it will be a pretty one ^w^

 

I don't mind Thistle as a color. It can be pretty nice : )

@Shana2 - that happens too often, I'll get perfectly matching purples and then a lime green tert out of nowhere.

@Hopeless I have a lovely ivory/Ivory girl, and then the tertiary... Royal -_-' I like purples too, but that one as a tertiary would be so over the top. Like the dragon would disappear into the background, completely overpowered by that tert. So I'm probably going to keep tert basic when I gene her up. Or replace her if I ever get an Ivory/Ivory with a better tert.

Its actually not terrible as Gembond, but as smoke, on the adult especially, it looks like... odor or something. hahaha

When a nest of wildclaw and coatl hatch and only one wildclaw hatchling, with the ugliest color combo -_-

 

I find it's funny that I like wildclaw but I only have like 3 of them, I'm so picky with color and gene and price

I tend to keep most of my dragons but these two... no. You are going straight to the good ol' Earthshaker, babies. 

 

And basically all of the dragons with red/carmine/crimson etc as tertiary, since I mostly breed blue/green or pastel. I hate all of you.

No no, come ON! The pair had so many nice prospects TAT And then... this. I'm especially upset about the CryFace hatchling. She would have been so pretty with a lighter tert color. And now I need to wait so long to breed them again *cries* She's not ugly but I just find the obsidian too overbearing. And the other one isn't ugly either but she just doesn't fit in with my tastes. Although Maize as a tert color is kinda sweet.

 

 

 

Well, at least I will be able to sell them for a good price. But still, so disappointed.
