I think it would be hilarious, if we as a community, stepped in and said "don't worry guys, we've got it from here".
We'd probably make news - "cheating fan-forum steps in to save game". Ironic, and hilarious, as all the legit players wouldn't know how to feel about it once things start improving.
(said the guy with no gfx skill)
I'd totally volunteer to write plot content though. Bring back the style of plots from before Viacom.

Shit, I'd volunteer to program new flash games and grab a few art nerds I know to do the graphics. We'd all have this shit sorted - though we couldn't really do a worse job than the current team.

I can't understand why they do that to the site. I would rather not have new items but those ugly ones. It feels like they had always hated neopets and they bought it just to ruin it
