Ohboy.
Dimensional could have potential to be something awesome with that tone of blue, but they managed to fuck crap it up. The outline is weird. In some body parts it's there, in other it's non existent. Thre's a random smudge on the belly, WHY?
And the Transparent. I don't even have words. Apparently Peophins only have heart and intestines. That's all.

I think the transparent peophin is the worst color/pet they ever created. There's not even shading on the hair :c

I couldn't agree more. It's such a lazy work. Goddamn it's that so hard to go to the rainbow pool and see how things are done?? Even if they are outsourcing these things, they should at least give the artists some background work to guide them. 
On other news. This is not exactly an image, but it shows that these people are doing a 5* job (not)!

A lot of people could do so much better. If they reallocated resources to get a lawyer to straighten out how to allow user-created content again, things would be a lot less bad.

To be frank, at this point I'm okay with the mediocre art style. It's not "worse" (held extremely loosely), it's just different and it's just time to move on. As long as they keep improving, I'll be fine. They made "significant" (held extremely loosely) strides in improving artwork just by a comparison from the time this topic was made.

@Guppie you're actually right. I went to check and realized that what's wrong with peo is that... void. It's so empty. At least, with the other transparent pets TNT made the effort to fill their bodies (even if only with intestines and a heart).
Besides, the more I look at it, the more flaws I find. The intestines are just wrong. Where they come from??
And its bone structure... Where are the bone legs attached to? xD
Yeah, that's what I like about the Reddit version I posted. The anatomy actually tries to make a bit of sense

For some of it, I get the impression that they're literally digging through old, unreleased images and just going "screw it, that'l do". Like, perhaps some of it is literally from a different era and perhaps others are unfinished drafts or something?
But that transparent... that's definitely new. This upsets me greatly.

Wow this is really sad. The Peophin is just horrible and unprofesional...
Glad I stopped caring about Neopets a while ago. I feel sorry for people who still have faith on it. Obviously JS doesn't care about quality at all.

I sort of feel like the designer was high when he designed it, and that's why it's all those colors that don't match.
Is that supposed to be the pastel color?

The head's green was such an necessary addition. I can't help but think the "artist" was given a pallet to choose from for Pastel and thought they had to incorporate ALL of the colors.
