i think its great to give more recognition to people who previously contributed so much for this place. thoughts?

It would be a nice way to explain why certain people have contributed a lot, explain old posts people might see, or explain knowledge some people have even thought they may seem like a regular user.
I'd be about this but what do I know. 
What colour would you propose?

ive no idea about the colors lol... its too early to discuss about the design i think. but we havent had an orange userbar currently so that can be a viable option.

that's part of my reasoning too. i wanna see more people with multiple userbars.

There wouldn't be another group, just a user bar. There's also more than 3 ex staff members. Not all retired members are ex staff, and vise versa.
