So after a hiatus, I tried to log into my account and it says

"This account has been FROZEN for the following reason:

Sorry. Your account has been temporarily locked because you tried to login too many times. It's for your safety. Please try again later!

But this is the first time I have tried to log in in MONTHS. I'm bummed because I had an UCs on that account. Also, I can still view the lookup, it doesn't say 'this user's been disabled' like normal. Can anyone help me with what caused this/what I can do please?

Ok thanks glad it's a 'normal' error and not just me. Probably won't send a ticket to TNT though, it's scary :p

How is it scary to send a ticket to TNT when you've done nothing wrong and are just asking they unlock your account that was locked in the first place because of their error?
If you send one, try sending it under bug reports. Those get answered faster, plus you haven't really been frozen, you're locked out due to a bug.

I'm trying to sell some pets/accounts at the moment so I'm not keen to bring myself/any potential buyer to TNT's attention since the account is linked to some I want to sell

That makes sense; I understand however that a ton of people are trying to sell UCs right now...seriously it's as though the Titanic is reenacting the whole sinking thing, and many of these people have begun to suspect that TNT is watching accounts with UCs on them like a hawk anyway (though I cannot understand a potentially dying website actually deterring people who still play by punishing anyone doing so).

I did hear that recently a bunch of people with UCs from a looooong time ago have been frozen and the trade reversed, so do be careful when dealing with UCs.

Maybe I should sell them with the account to be on the safe side :o

Unconverted. Pets that have the same poses/art that they had before the customization change

Why are unconverted pets popular and why TNT freeze those accounts with uc's?

    Is there cheating involves?

UC = unconverted pets. They're popular because they're very rare nowadays. The last time you could've made one was back in 2007. Also, many people including myself prefer the art of unconverted pets. TNT freezes anyone who they think are cheating regardless of what's on their account.

Oh.... Thanks for explaining. I read that TNT is freezing accounts with uc but I cannot understand their reasons in doing so because having uc is a matter of preference, not cheating.

That was the reason Iwhy I think I was blocked for coming back after a long period! After sending some tickets. I finally got my account back!

Yea, they only freeze people with UC's that are cheating (or accused of cheating, and they think they are cheating). It's only a "bigger" deal because there are a finite amount of UC's. It's kind've like whenever someone with like a legit SUAP gets iced (or someting else that has a finite amount)
