I don't know if I'm allowed to post this, please notify me if not.

In the context of a university project my colleagues and me are making a Virtual Museum app.

To find the right target group and set of features we designed a survey.
If any members, especially art creators/amateurs, could find the time to fill it in, that would greatly help me in the continuation of the project.

Any comments, suggestion or positive motivation are greatly appreciated :)!

If you're interested to beta-test it, please let us know through the survey.

3D Virtual Museum Concept Survey

We are creating a fun interactive platform to share and discover new art, that works on both desktop, Android and IOS devices. Artists can register their art and create QR codes. People can scan these to collect them and add them in their own virtual museum. You can visit other peoples museums in first person, optionally with VR technology like Google Cardboard or Oculus Rift.

If you want to collect art from another museum, you can get information on where to find the QR code. This way, artists can encourage people to visit their webpages, or even real life locations. To keep the idea interesting, we're experimenting with gamification aspects.

We are conducting this survey to measure interest in the idea as a whole and the different features we would implement. None of the questions are mandatory so just fill in as much as you'd like. At the end you can also sign up for a possible beta test which could occur later this year.

Seconding this. I had never considered a virtual museum-type program.

I'm lucky enough to live in Los Angeles where there are a ton of museums within driving distance and I do enjoy frequenting them with friends because it's pretty awesome to see how art changes as history progresses. But hey, if I go to a physical museum I have to pay for parking and/or entry fee. :p

Nice to hear some feedback :D. I'm hoping to open a neopets fan-art museum, once the first playable demo is released.
