I 'need' to make a FOOD themed cake this week and have NO idea which to pick. I have narrowed it down..

*This cake is massively intimidating, my recreation with looks very poor compared to this masterpiece. I can dream though, i love steak a lot! (sorry meat haters :\ )

*This looks doable. Popcorn rates at like a 5/10 on food i absolutely love right now, but its a high 5.

*I would replace the 'Father's Day' wrappers with something more neutral, but would need to make a bunch of these.

* a very desirable cake. I LOVE A1 sauce so much, but since i am Australia, no-one would have a clue what it was (beyond the obvious). I think i want people to like the cake too lol.

*This cake looks WAY to difficult for me, but it is kinda my fave. So torn. My own would look miserable (just google 'burger cake' to see how awful this cake can potentially look lol).

 

 

Which do you think i should make?? 

 

I am open to other ideas, but i have looked around a lot, so please don't be mad if i shoot your idea away too quick.

The popcorn one looks great It's a basic shape, plus it doesn't require a shitload of fondant. You get quite sick of it soon

Okay, that link needs to die lol. I thought about pizza, but it is my least favorite of the options i have seen :\ maybe for my husbands next birthday though!

The popcorn one looks nice and not so difficult to make.

 

Plus I don't eat meat so burgers and steaks are a big no no.

Yer, I'm thinking of totally crossing it off the list. Popcorn does look simple, i had never thought of actually eating a cake that looks like a burger... I will consider it. Thanks @Eefi

Awesome thanks. The popcorn one is looking to be really simple actually (now that i have watched some tutorials), but do i pick it just because it is the easiest? oh the dilemma, off to google "Cake decorating life hacks" lol.

I can't see number one so based on what I do see, two or three. Popcorn is easy and still cute, and three seems cute and not too easy.

I love number 3! It's a creative concept. Number 2 comes pretty close but it seems more appropriate for a movie theme than food. I want cake now...
